Dance Jobs
We are always recruiting professional dance teachers, choreographers and performers across our 67 cities — paid properly, booked regularly and backed by a national team that fills your diary.
Work That Fits Around a Dance Career
Most of our teachers perform, tour and audition — teaching with us is how they keep the diary full and the income steady between jobs. Work is freelance and flexible: take a weekly class, pick up weekend hen parties, lead school workshops, or stack all three.
We handle the bookings, venues and payments; you turn up and teach. Rates are agreed up front per job, and reliable teachers get first refusal on new work in their city.
You teach. We fill the diary, book the venues and chase the invoices.
Weekly Class Teachers
Run a regular slot in your style — street, salsa, ballet, ballroom, heels and more. Same venue, same night, steady income.
Hen Party Choreographers
Weekend work teaching themed routines to hen groups — high energy, great rates, and the most fun you will have being paid.
Wedding Dance Choreographers
Private first-dance lessons for couples — patient, encouraging choreographers who build simple routines that photograph well.
School Workshop Leaders
Daytime work delivering workshops and wow days in schools. Enhanced DBS required — we help arrange one if needed.
Performers & Dance Troupes
Corporate events, music videos, fashion shows and launches — casting from our national roster of working dancers.
Cover Teachers
On our cover list you get first call when a class in your city needs someone at short notice — ideal between contracts.
How It Works
Send your CV and showreel
Email both to info@dancecentreuk.co.uk with your city and styles in the subject line. No showreel? Phone footage of you teaching is genuinely fine.
Meet us and audition
A conversation plus a short practical — teach us something. We are looking for room presence as much as technique.
Start taking bookings
You go on the books for your city and styles, set your availability, and work starts arriving. DBS and insurance guidance included.
Questions, Answered
Do I need a teaching qualification?
Not necessarily. Professional dance experience and the ability to hold a room matter most. For school and children's work an enhanced DBS is essential — we help you arrange one.
Is this full-time or freelance?
Freelance. Some teachers do two hen parties a month; others build a near-full week from classes, workshops and events. You set your availability and it is never use-it-or-lose-it.
Which cities are you recruiting in?
All 67, genuinely — but demand is strongest where we are growing fastest. Put your city in the subject line and we will tell you straight away how much work is waiting there.
What does it pay?
Rates vary by job type and are agreed before you accept each booking — hen parties and school days pay the strongest day rates, weekly classes build the steady base. No fees are taken from your rate.
