How Your Beyoncé Party Runs

Arrival and Warm-Up

Your choreographer arrives at your studio or accommodation, warms the group up, and runs through the attitude basics — posture, shoulders and the all-important hair flick.

Learning the Routine

The routine is taught in short sections, building from the Single Ladies hand work to full group formations, with the bride positioned exactly where she belongs: front and centre.

The Filmed Finale

You finish with a full performance filmed for the group chat — and, on plenty of hen weekends, re-staged at the wedding reception months later.

Why a Beyoncé Hen Party?

Ask a room of hens to name one music video they all know, and Single Ladies wins nearly every time. That is why Beyoncé tops our theme requests year after year: the moves are iconic, the songs are wall-to-wall confidence, and the bride gets ninety minutes of feeling like the headline act. It works for shy groups and show-offs alike.

Your choreographer draws on the videos everyone has watched a hundred times — the Single Ladies hand work, the Crazy in Love strut, the stomping formations of Run the World — and rebuilds them at a level real humans can learn in an afternoon. Everything is taught in short sections, so the routine comes together faster than anyone expects.

Beyoncé's British CV is serious. Crazy in Love was a UK number one back in 2003, she made history headlining Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage in 2011, and her recent tours have filled London stadiums for nights at a time. For a UK hen party there is no safer bet: every guest arrives already knowing at least half the setlist.

Six hens or twenty-six — everyone gets to be in the girl group for an afternoon.

Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)

The most copied routine on the planet and the classic hen party pick — that famous hand move included.

Crazy in Love

The 2003 breakthrough with the strut that opens the video — an easy, confidence-building first section.

Run the World (Girls)

Stomping, percussive and built for a big group moving in formation.

Love on Top

Joyful, retro and famously key-change heavy — a favourite for groups who want smiles over sass.

Formation

Sharp lines and maximum attitude for hen parties who want the fierce version.

Break My Soul

The Renaissance-era house anthem for a high-energy, everyone-together finale.

Beyoncé Facts Worth Repeating

Most Grammys in History

With 35 wins, Beyoncé is the most awarded artist in Grammy history — Cowboy Carter took Album of the Year in 2025.

The Fosse Connection

The Single Ladies choreography drew on Mexican Breakfast, a 1969 Bob Fosse routine — and won Video of the Year at the 2009 MTV VMAs.

Pyramid Stage History

Beyoncé headlined Glastonbury in 2011 — the first female solo artist to top the Pyramid Stage bill in over twenty years.

A UK Love Affair

Crazy in Love spent three weeks at number one on the UK singles chart in the summer of 2003 — the first of her UK chart-toppers.

Beyoncé Questions, Answered

How much does a Beyoncé hen party dance class cost?

From £140 plus venue hire for one hour, or £165 plus venue for ninety minutes — one flat rate however many of you come. Numbers can change right up to the day without changing the price.

Can we learn the Single Ladies routine?

Yes — your choreographer builds a routine inspired by the original video choreography, adapted so a mixed-ability group can genuinely learn it in one session. Tell us the bride's favourite songs when you book and the routine is shaped around them.

Do we need to be good dancers?

Not remotely. The routine is broken into short sections and repeated until it sticks, so total beginners keep pace. Attitude counts for more than accuracy — and attitude is very teachable in ninety minutes.

Where does the class happen?

Wherever suits you: your accommodation, a hired hall or one of our partner studios in any of our 67 cities. The choreographer comes to you if you want them to — most hen weekends choose exactly that.
