I put together a Norwich weekend for my best friend's hen and the Grease class is the bit everyone still brings up. Our teacher pitched the hand jive perfectly for eleven women in borrowed circle skirts, and the bride's finale pose is now her phone wallpaper.

Weekly classes in twenty styles, hen parties built from 38+ ideas and wedding first dances — led by the professional dancers you find on Norfolk's stages, in its studios and at its events.
Pick a Hen Party Theme. We Build the Routine.
A hen party dance class in Norwich begins with a theme — pick Beyoncé, ABBA or Wicked from a list of 38+ — and finishes with your whole group nailing a routine none of you knew that morning.
A professional choreographer breaks down every step in a private studio near the centre, or brings the whole session to your hotel, holiday let or hall anywhere in Norfolk. That one flat rate still covers the entire group.
Class in the afternoon, the Norwich Lanes come evening, the same routine wheeled out at the wedding months on — that is how a Norwich hen weekend should go.
One Flat Price. No Per-Head Maths.
Most hen party firms charge by the head, so the total shifts every time someone pulls out or a friend joins late. We fix one price for the whole group — no matter how many of you make it out for the day.

Choose your theme
Scroll the 38+ themes and settle on one for the bride. Can't split two of them? Your choreographer is glad to fuse the pair into a single routine.
-
Pick studio or come-to-you
A private studio near the centre with the night out on the doorstep, or the choreographer heads to your accommodation anywhere in Norfolk.
-
Learn the routine together
Each move is drip-fed in short, beginner-sized pieces — nothing assumed, nobody judged, no one left standing at the edge.
-
Perform it — maybe twice
Finish on a full run to camera if you fancy it, and a fair few of these routines get an encore at the wedding.

Wedding Dance Lessons in Norwich
Your first dance is the most filmed minute and a half of the reception — too big a moment for a nervous shuffle. Our choreographers design a private routine around your song, scaled anywhere from quiet and elegant to an outright showstopper, at a central studio or your own venue.
Most couples book four to six sessions across the months before the wedding; when time is tight, the two-hour Last Minute intensive has rescued plenty. Prices open at £75, and song edits plus recorded rehearsals come in as the package grows.

Questions, Answered
The questions Norwich dancers raise before they book — studios, prices, experience and how far ahead to plan. For anything else, the enquiry forms land with us inside a working day.
Whereabouts in Norwich do you actually run everything?
Our studios sit around Chapel Field and the city centre, a short stroll from Norwich station and easy on the bus network, while the children's classes reach out into the Norfolk suburbs. For a hen party or any private session the choreographer will come to your hotel, holiday let or chosen venue anywhere in the county.
How is the hen party price worked out?
A single fee covers the whole group — reckon on £140 plus venue for the hour or £165 plus venue for ninety minutes — and it does not budge whether ten turn up or twenty-five. No dividing by heads, no redoing the sum when someone cries off.
What will a single weekly class set me back?
It is £8 a class, drop-in or block, and the same figure applies right across the twenty styles. There is no membership to join, no sign-up fee and nothing to cancel — try street this week, tap the next.
We have hardly danced before — will we cope?
You will be fine. Genuine beginner levels run in every style, and the hen routines are pitched for a room where half the group insists it has no rhythm at all. Our teachers are working pros who get first-timers moving quickly.
Who will be teaching us in Norwich?
They are professional dancers and choreographers working across Norfolk's theatres, studios and events, fitting teaching in between their own gigs. Anyone who takes a children's class has been DBS-checked.
How much notice do we need to give?
A weekly class you can usually walk into the same week. For a summer Saturday hen party, three to five months ahead is sensible, and couples after a first dance are best starting two to three months out from the wedding.
What Our Dancers Say
Hen weekends, first dances and weekly regulars from right across Norfolk.
I always assumed ballet was something you had to start as a child, so joining the adult beginners' class in my fifties felt a bit daft. Two terms on, I can get through a barre sequence without tying myself in knots, and I stand a good deal taller than I did. The Tuesday slot fits around work and nobody has once made me feel behind.
Malcolm R. Weekly student, NorwichNeither of us wanted a big performance — just to get through the first dance without shuffling on the spot in front of everyone. Four sessions at a studio in the centre gave us something calm and properly us, which we danced at our reception near Elm Hill without a single wrong turn. Our families still can't believe we practised.
