Name the Hen Party Theme. We Choreograph the Routine.

A hen party dance class in Swansea kicks off the moment you settle on a theme for the bride — Beyoncé, ABBA, Wicked, forty-odd to weigh up — and finishes with the whole group performing choreography they picked up together over one afternoon in Abertawe.

One professional choreographer runs the session start to finish, teaching each part in a private studio near Wind Street or the Marina — or loading up the speaker and driving to your hotel or holiday let out on Gower. The single flat rate covers however many of you show up.

Class in the afternoon, Wind Street by evening, the routine dusted off at the wedding six months on — that is a Swansea hen do done properly.

One Fixed Price. No Per-Head Maths.

Plenty of Swansea hen-party outfits quote per head, so the figure shifts every time a name drops off or a cousin tags along. We set one fixed total for the whole group up front — no matter how many surface from the holiday let.

One-hour party A warm-up, then the whole routine, filmed

£140 + venue

Ninety-minute party Extra polish, another chorus, more laughing still

£165 + venue

Bottle of bubbly Chilled and poured as you walk in

One flat total whether 6 hens come or 30 — it never climbs when the plans shift.

  1. Choose your theme

Scan the 38+ themes and land on one for the bride. Caught between a couple? Your choreographer will happily weave them into one.

  2. Studio, or we come to you

A private studio a short walk from Wind Street and the Marina, with the night out on the doorstep — or the choreographer drives to wherever you are based across Swansea, the Mumbles or Gower.

  3. Everyone learns it together

Every move taught in short chunks pitched for total beginners — no auditions, no side-eye, nobody left by the wall.

  4. Perform it, maybe twice over

The last run-through gets filmed and dropped into the group chat there and then, and plenty of these numbers earn an encore at the wedding.

Wedding Dance Lessons in Swansea

The first dance is the most filmed ninety seconds of the whole reception — far too big a moment for a nervous side-to-side sway. Our choreographers build a private routine around your song, anywhere from quietly elegant to an outright showstopper, rehearsed at a Swansea studio or out at your venue.

Most couples take somewhere between four and six sessions across the months leading up to the day; our two-hour Last-Minute intensive, meanwhile, has salvaged more than one fortnight-to-go panic. Packages open at £75, with song edits and filmed run-throughs folded in as you move up.

Questions, Answered

The questions Swansea brides, grooms and hen organisers put to us most — the where, the how-much, the how-experienced and the how-soon. Anything we have missed reaches us on the enquiry forms within a working day.

Whereabouts in Swansea do the classes and hen parties run?

We work from private studios in central Swansea, a short step from Castle Square and Wind Street, and run the children's classes out in Uplands, Sketty, Morriston and the Mumbles. For a hen party or any private booking, your choreographer comes to your hotel, holiday let or hall anywhere across Swansea and Gower.

How does the flat-rate hen pricing actually work?

One charge takes care of the whole party: £140 and the room gets you sixty minutes, £165 and the room gets you ninety, and it holds whether eight of you make it out or twenty-eight do. Nobody counts heads, and the bill stays put when numbers move.

What does a weekly class cost?

Whichever way you book, a class is £8 — a single drop-in or a block of four weeks, right across the twenty styles. There are no joining fees and no contract, so one week could be heels and the next could be tap.

Do we need any dance experience?

Not at all — every style has a beginner tier, and the hen routines are built for rooms where half the group swears they have two left feet. Our teachers are jobbing professionals whose whole knack is getting first-timers moving fast.

Who actually teaches the Swansea classes?

Working dancers and choreographers who live in and around Swansea — people whose weeks run on shows, shoots and stage contracts, fitting teaching in between jobs. Anyone taking a children's class is DBS-checked.

How much notice do you need?

A weekly class you can normally start the same week you ask. Hen groups after a summer Saturday should allow three to five months, as those dates go first, while wedding couples usually begin two or three months ahead of the day.

What Our Dancers Say

First dances, hen parties and weekly regulars from right across Swansea, the Mumbles and Gower.

We learned 'Single Ladies' for the hen in a room just off Wind Street, and it turned out our teacher was a Welsh speaker too — half the counts got called in Welsh, which had us howling. Fourteen of us, one very sharp routine.

Heledd P. Maid of honour, Swansea

I'd just moved to Swansea and knew nobody, so I chanced the street class near the Marina. Best thing I did — the regulars folded me straight in, and now two nights a week I've somewhere to be and people to see.

Iestyn M. Weekly student, Swansea

It bucketed down the day we rehearsed our first dance up in Uplands, and somehow that saved us — if we could hold the routine giggling through a downpour, the reception was no bother. Danced it without a single wobble.
