Pick a Hen Party Theme. We Build the Routine.

A hen party dance class in Leicester begins with a theme — Beyoncé, ABBA, Wicked or any of the other 38-plus — and finishes with the whole group nailing a routine they picked up together across a single afternoon.

A professional choreographer walks you through every step at a private studio in the city centre or the Cultural Quarter, or brings the whole class to your hotel, Airbnb or hall anywhere across Leicester and Leicestershire. One flat rate takes care of the entire group, whatever the final number.

Learn it over the afternoon, cocktails in the Cultural Quarter come evening, the routine reprised on the wedding floor months later — that is a Leicester hen do done properly.

One Flat Price. No Per-Head Maths.

Most Leicester hen firms still charge per person, so the bill keeps moving as the guest list changes — twelve people at £26 a head tops £300 before the music even starts. We do the opposite: a single fixed price for the whole group, no matter how many end up coming.

  1. Choose your theme

Scroll the 38+ themes and settle on the one made for the bride. Caught between two? Your choreographer is glad to weave the pair into one.

  2. Pick studio or come-to-you

A private studio in the city centre or Cultural Quarter with the bars a short walk away, or the choreographer comes to your accommodation anywhere across Leicester and the county.

  3. Learn the routine together

Every step split into short, repeatable chunks pitched at first-timers — nothing assumed, nobody judged, no one left holding up the wall.

  4. Perform it — maybe twice

The final take is filmed and dropped into the group chat within minutes, and plenty of these routines earn an encore at the wedding six months on.

Wedding Dance Lessons in Leicester

That first dance ends up on more phones than any other moment of the reception, so it deserves better than a nervous shuffle. Our choreographers design a routine of your own around the exact track — anything from an understated slow number to a lifts-and-dips showstopper — taught at a city-centre studio or wherever you are marrying.

For most couples four to six lessons in the run-up does it, while the two-hour Last Minute intensive regularly rescues a down-to-the-wire fortnight. Prices open at £75, and track editing plus filmed rehearsals fold in as the packages climb.

Questions, Answered

The things Leicester locals check before booking — where the studios sit, what it costs, whether beginners fit and how early to plan. Anything not covered here, drop it in an enquiry form and we come back within a working day.

Which parts of Leicester do the classes and hen sessions run in?

Our partner studios are in the heart of the city — the Highcross and St Martin's end of the centre — and in the Cultural Quarter around Rutland Street, with a few more out towards Belgrave and the West End; you get the precise address on booking. For hen do's and private bookings the choreographer will happily come to you — your hotel, your Airbnb, a hired hall — anywhere across Leicester and out into the Leicestershire towns.

How does the one flat hen price work?

One figure covers the whole group: £140 plus venue for an hour, £165 plus venue for ninety minutes, whether eight of you turn up or twenty-eight. A fifteen-hen group pays £140 flat rather than £25-plus a head, and it does not budge when names drop in or out.

What will a weekly class in Leicester set me back?

Flat £8 a class, whether that's a casual drop-in or a four-week block, whichever of the twenty styles you pick. No membership and no contract, so one week of street and the next of bollywood costs you nothing on top.

Can a complete beginner really keep up?

Yes — beginners are exactly the people these classes are built for. Every style has a proper beginners' tier, and hen routines assume most of the group has not danced since the last wedding they went to. Our teachers are working pros with a knack for settling nervous newcomers within the first few minutes.

Who will be teaching us in Leicester?

The people teaching you are working dancers and choreographers from in and around Leicester — performers who tour, pick up commercial and stage jobs and teach in the gaps, in the home of the Curve and Britain's longest-running comedy festival. Anything with children is only ever led by fully background-checked instructors.

How far ahead do we need to book?

A weekly class you can normally slot into within a few days of messaging. Hen parties are the ones worth pinning down early — good-value Leicester sits an easy hour from St Pancras and the summer Saturdays go first, so three to five months is sensible. First-dance couples usually begin two to three months out from the wedding.

What Our Dancers Say

Hen parties, first dances and weekly classes across the capital.

Sixteen of us took on the Spice Girls routine in a Cultural Quarter studio, then poured out onto Granby Street for the night. Our teacher had the whole room in stitches, and that closing video still sits pinned at the top of the group chat.

Anisha P. Maid of honour, Leicester

I tried a Tuesday salsa class straight from the office, just off the Clock Tower, and I have not missed a social since — two a week now. Because everyone changes partner through the night, a month in you have led half of Leicester round the floor.

Tom H. Weekly student, Leicester

We took five first-dance lessons over in Clarendon Park and walked out with a routine that actually has a dip in it, in place of the nervous shuffle we arrived with. Practising on the reception floor itself the week before was the best decision of the whole day.

Find Us in Leicester

Partner studios in the city centre and the Cultural Quarter, children's classes right across Leicester, and choreographers who come to your venue anywhere out into Leicestershire — exact addresses confirmed once you book.

On Foot

The middle of Leicester is compact and flat, so wherever your studio sits it is only a few minutes from the Clock Tower or the Highcross — and evening classes are timed for people coming straight from work.

Coming Into Town

Leicester station is a ten-minute stroll from the centre, about an hour by fast train from St Pancras and a short hop from Nottingham, Derby and Birmingham — so a group can arrive by rail and step out right in the thick of it.

Easy to Park

There is no tram or metro here, but parking is plentiful — the two Highcross multi-storeys alone hold over 3,000 spaces, open around the clock. Head for a signed deck rather than the pedestrianised Lanes, and leave the rest of the centre for your feet.

We Travel Too

Prefer to stay put? The choreographer brings everything to your hotel, your Airbnb or a booked function room, travelling out across Leicester and into Loughborough, Hinckley, Melton Mowbray and the wider county — speaker and playlist supplied.
