Learn It Together, Perform the Routine.

A hen party dance class in Northampton begins with a theme. Pick Beyoncé, ABBA, Wicked or any of the 38+ on our list, and your whole group finishes the afternoon performing a routine they picked up together from scratch.

A professional choreographer walks you through every count in a private studio near Market Square, or brings the music to your hotel, Airbnb or county-house venue anywhere across Northamptonshire. One flat rate covers everyone, however many turn up.

Routine in the afternoon, cocktails on Bridge Street by evening, an encore at the wedding months later: that is a Northampton hen weekend sorted.

One Price for the Whole Group. No Per-Head Maths.

Most Northampton hen party companies charge per person, so the total keeps shifting as names come and go. We set one price for the entire group instead, and it holds whether a dozen of you make it or nearer thirty.

  1. Choose your theme

Look through all 38+ themes and settle on the bride's favourite. Stuck between a couple? We will fold them into a single routine.

  2. Pick studio or come-to-you

A private studio moments from Market Square with the bars on the doorstep, or your choreographer comes to your accommodation anywhere in Northamptonshire.

  3. Learn the routine together

We teach it in small, repeatable pieces aimed squarely at total beginners, so nobody gets stranded or left watching from the side.

  4. Perform it — maybe twice

The final run-through gets filmed and dropped into the group chat within minutes, and plenty of couples bring the whole thing back for the wedding reception.

Wedding Dance Lessons in Northampton

Your first dance is the most filmed ninety seconds of the reception, and it deserves better than an anxious shuffle across the floor. We choreograph something private and personal to your chosen track, whether you want understated and graceful or an all-out showstopper, at studios in town or at your venue.

Couples usually take four to six lessons across the run-up to the wedding, though our Last Minute intensive, two hours start to finish, has rescued plenty of last-fortnight nerves. Packages open at £75, and song editing plus filmed rehearsals are built into the larger ones.

Questions, Answered

The questions Northampton bookers ask most often, on where we teach, what it costs, whether you need experience and how early to plan. Anything not covered here reaches us via the enquiry forms, and we reply within a working day.

Whereabouts in Northampton do classes and hen parties actually happen?

Weekly classes run at partner studios in the town centre near Market Square and along the Wellingborough Road, with children's classes reaching Kingsthorpe, Abington and Great Houghton. For hen parties and private bookings the choreographer travels to your home, hotel or hired hall right across Northamptonshire.

How is the flat-rate hen party price worked out?

It is a single figure for the whole group rather than a per-person charge: £140 plus venue hire for the hour, or £165 plus venue for ninety minutes, the same whether twelve of you come or twenty-six. Nothing gets recalculated when the guest list moves around.

What does a weekly class cost in Northampton?

A single class is £8 no matter how you book it, whether you drop in once or take a four-week block, and that covers all twenty styles. There is no membership and no contract, so you can try ballet one week and bachata the next.

Can you reach the villages and the wider county, not just the town studios?

Yes. The weekly classes sit in the town centre and on the Wellingborough Road, while the mobile choreographers head out to Duston, Wootton, Great Houghton, Delapre and the county-house venues around Daventry and Towcester. Northampton runs on Stagecoach buses rather than any tram or metro, so send a postcode and we settle the travel before you book.

Do we need any dancing experience to join in?

None at all. Every style runs a real beginners' level, and the hen routines assume most of the group has never danced a step. Our teachers are working professionals whose speciality is getting nervous first-timers moving within the first few minutes.

How early should we get a date in the diary?

A weekly class you can usually step into the same week you get in touch. Hen parties are worth booking three to five months ahead for a busy summer Saturday, since Saints fixtures at Franklin's Gardens and Royal and Derngate show nights fill the town, and wedding couples are best starting lessons two to three months before the day.

What Our Dancers Say

Real hen dos, first dances and weekly classes from around Northampton and Northamptonshire.

Booked a Taylor Swift class for my sister's hen and it was the best call of the weekend. Twelve of us learned a full routine in a studio just off Market Square, then wandered over to Bridge Street for dinner. Two of the group have signed up for weekly classes since.

Bryony T. Maid of honour, Northampton

I started the heels class back in January with zero confidence and it has quietly become the best hour of my week. The teacher breaks every move down so it never feels intimidating, and the Wellingborough Road studio has a proper community to it. I have dragged three friends along now.

Marnie K. Weekly student, Northampton

Our lessons came to us out near Delapre because our evenings were chaos in the run-up. Six weeks later we surprised the whole room with a first dance that switched songs halfway through, and the floor filled instantly. Worth every single penny.

By Bus

North Gate bus station sits in the heart of town and Stagecoach services run in from Kingsthorpe, Abington, Duston and the estates, so most studios are a short walk from a stop. There is no tram or metro here, just buses and taxis.

Off the Train

Northampton station sits over on the west side of the centre, a walk, quick bus or short taxi from Market Square, Derngate and the Wellingborough Road, so rail arrivals should factor in that last hop into town.

Driving and Parking

The town runs on the car once you leave the middle, with paid car parks in the centre that fill up on Saints match days and event nights. For Duston, Wootton, Great Houghton or a county wedding venue the car is usually easiest, and we will point you at studios with parking close by.

We Travel Too

Hotel, Airbnb or a hired village hall, the choreographers travel out across Northampton and the county to Daventry, Towcester and beyond, speaker and playlist included.
