For the hen we learned 'Wannabe' in a studio near the Square, then most of us dragged ourselves down to the beach-cleanup the next morning, still humming it. Even bleary and hauling bin bags, everyone remembered the chorus moves.
Tegan H. Maid of honour, BournemouthDance Classes & Hen Parties in Bournemouth
Twenty styles of weekly classes, 38+ themed hen parties and wedding first dances — led by professional choreographers along Bournemouth's seven miles of sand, from the wooded chines to the 1880 pier and the Lower Gardens.
Choose the Theme — We Choreograph the Rest.
A Bournemouth hen party dance class begins with a theme — Beyoncé, ABBA, Wicked, anything off a 38-strong list — and finishes with the whole group nailing a routine they picked up together over one seaside afternoon.
A professional choreographer breaks down every count in a private town-centre studio, or travels to your apartment or hen house anywhere across Bournemouth and the Dorset coast. One flat rate covers everyone in the room.
Routine in the afternoon, the Lansdowne and the Triangle by night, an encore at the wedding months later — that is a Bournemouth hen weekend done right.
One Fixed Price. No Per-Head Sums.
Most hen-party outfits along the coast charge by the head, so the total shifts every time someone drops out or joins late. We quote one fixed price for the whole group — whether six or twenty-six make it down to the beach that morning.

Wedding Dance Lessons in Bournemouth
Your first dance is the most-filmed ninety seconds of the whole reception — it deserves better than a nervous shuffle. Our choreographers build a private routine around your song, from quietly elegant to full showstopper, at a town-centre studio or your venue anywhere on the coast.
Four to six lessons in the weeks ahead of the wedding suits most couples; our two-hour crash course has bailed out more than one pair down to their final fortnight. Prices open at £75, and the larger packages fold in track editing and filmed run-throughs.

Questions, Answered
What Bournemouth couples and hens ask before booking — venues, pricing, experience and lead times. Anything else, the enquiry forms reach us within one working day.
Which parts of the town do you actually cover?
Rooms in and near the centre plus over in Boscombe, with the kids' classes dotted through the districts. For hens and private bookings the choreographer will also come to your hotel, apartment or venue anywhere along the wider Dorset coast.
How does the one-price hen deal actually add up?
A single figure covers everyone: £140 plus the venue for sixty minutes, or £165 plus venue for ninety, and it holds firm whether six make it or twenty-six. Nobody counts heads, and nothing extra is charged when the plan wobbles.
What does a weekly class cost?
It's £8 a session whichever way you pay — a one-off drop-in or a four-week run, right across the twenty styles. Nothing to join and nothing to sign, so sample one style now and a different one next week.
Do I need to have danced before?
Not a bit — there's a beginner tier in every style, and the hen routines are written expecting half the room to insist they can't dance a step. The people leading them are working pros who happen to be excellent at getting complete novices moving fast.
Who will actually be teaching?
Jobbing dancers and choreographers who live along this stretch of Dorset — performers whose weeks run on shoots, tours and stage work, teaching in the gaps. The children's classes sit with DBS-checked professionals.
How much lead time do you need?
A weekly class you can normally slot into within days. A summer Saturday hen wants three to five months' warning as the seaside dates vanish quickly, and couples tend to start their first-dance lessons a month or two before the big day.
What Our Dancers Say
Hen parties, first dances and weekly classes across Bournemouth and the Dorset coast.
I hadn't done ballet since I was twelve, so walking into the adult class near the Lansdowne felt daft at first. The teacher pitched it just right, and now barre on a Tuesday is the calmest hour of my week.
Rosanna B. Weekly student, BournemouthFin secretly booked extra lessons in Westbourne and surprised me on the day by leading a proper routine I'd never seen. I nearly cried on our clifftop terrace. Best-kept secret of the whole wedding, and worth every lesson he sneaked off to.
