Fourteen of us took on the Spice Girls routine at a Fruit Market studio, then poured out along Humber Street for the night. Our choreographer had the room crying laughing, and that clip is still pinned to the top of the group chat.
Lauren S. Maid of honour, HullDance Classes & Hen Parties in Hull
Twenty styles of weekly classes, 38+ themed hen parties and wedding first dances — led by working choreographers in the port city that made itself the first English City of Culture.
Pick a Hen Party Theme. We Build the Routine.
Every hen party dance class in Hull starts by choosing a theme — anything from ABBA to Wicked to Beyoncé, 38+ of them — and builds to the point where everyone pulls off the routine they picked up together that same afternoon.
A professional choreographer walks you through every step in a private city-centre studio near Paragon, or brings the speaker to your hotel or Airbnb anywhere across Hull and East Yorkshire. One flat rate covers the lot.
Class in the afternoon, cocktails down the Fruit Market by evening, the routine dusted off at the wedding six months on — that is a Hull hen do done properly.
One Flat Price. No Per-Head Maths.
Most hen party firms price it per head, which means haggling again every time the guest list shifts. We set one fixed price for the whole group — no matter how many of you actually make it out of the Airbnb.

Twenty styles run every week at central studios, from £8 a class — led by working professionals off Hull's own dance scene. Evening slots suit the after-work crowd; children's classes run out through the suburbs and the Avenues.

Ballet
Barre then centre, in adult classes genuinely built for beginners. No leotard required.

Point choreography and tight formations straight off the videos — the fastest-growing class on the Hull timetable.
Ballroom
Waltz, foxtrot, quickstep and a proper frame — come paired or solo, partners rotate.

Floor work, release technique and improvisation — with jazz, tap, heels, flamenco, bollywood and plenty more besides. Twenty styles all told; the classes page has every one.
Wedding Dance Lessons in Hull
The first dance is the ninety seconds of the reception everyone films — too important to hand to a nervous shuffle. Our choreographers shape a private routine around your track, anything from simple and elegant to a full showstopper, at a central studio or in your own venue.
Most couples run through four to six lessons before the big day; and if the wedding is barely a fortnight off, the two-hour Last Minute crash session has pulled more than one couple back from the brink. Packages open at £75, and song editing plus filmed rehearsals come in as you step up.

Questions, Answered
The things Hull dancers check before booking — where we run, what it all costs, whether you need any experience and how early to lock a date. Anything we have missed, the enquiry forms land with us inside a working day.
Where in Hull do the classes and hen parties run?
Partner studios sit right in the city centre near Paragon Interchange and Queen Victoria Square, with more down in the Fruit Market on Humber Street and up in the Avenues around Princes Avenue — children's classes run out through the suburbs, and your exact address lands when you book. For a hen do or private session the choreographer loads a speaker and comes to your hotel, Airbnb or hired room right across Hull and East Yorkshire.
So how does the one-price hen deal actually work?
One number covers the whole group: £140 plus the room for an hour, or £165 plus the room for ninety minutes, whether nine of you turn out or twenty-nine. No dividing the bill by heads, and no scramble to top up when someone cries off.
What do the weekly classes cost?
Every session is £8, drop-in and four-week block alike — that goes for any of the twenty styles. No joining fee, no membership, no tie-in: try street this week, salsa the next, ballet the week after.
Do we need any dancing behind us?
Not a step. Every style runs a proper beginners' tier, and the hen routines take it as read that half the room hasn't danced since school. Our teachers are working professionals whose whole knack is getting nervous beginners moving before the first track ends.
Who actually teaches for Dance Centre UK in Hull?
Working dancers and choreographers off Hull's own scene — people who spend their weeks on shoots, tours and the boards at Hull Truck and the New Theatre, and teach in the gaps. Children's classes are led by DBS-checked professionals.
How much notice do you need?
A weekly class you can usually join the same week you get in touch. Hen weekends want three to five months for a summer Saturday — Hull pulls groups in by direct train and off the A63, and the best dates go early — and wedding couples do best starting lessons two to three months out.
What Our Dancers Say
Hen parties, first dances and weekly classes right across the city.
I gave salsa a go one Tuesday after work in town, and now I'm out at socials two nights a week. Since partners keep rotating, you somehow get to know half of Hull inside a month.
Jake W. Weekly student, HullFive lessons near the Old Town turned our nervous swaying into a proper routine, dip and all. Running it through at the venue the week before was easily the best money we spent on the day.
Holly & Liam Newlyweds, HullFind Us in Hull
Partner studios dotted across the city centre, the Old Town and the Fruit Market, children's classes out in the suburbs, and choreographers who bring the class to your venue right across Hull and East Yorkshire — we confirm the exact address once you are booked in.
By Train
Every partner studio sits a short walk from Paragon Interchange, where trains, buses and coaches all share the one roof — evening sessions run late enough to catch the after-work crowd.
Coming Into Town
Groups roll straight in by direct train to Paragon from up and down the country — grab a central studio by the station and the rest of the day falls into place.
Park Once, Walk It
Hull sits at the end of the line — no motorway runs right in, so you peel off the M62 onto the A63 and you are there. Most groups park once in a central car park and walk the flat centre; driving in, just say and we will flag venues with parking close by.
We Travel Too
Hotel, Airbnb or a hired hall — the choreographer will travel to you anywhere across Hull and East Yorkshire, speaker and playlist in the boot.
Hull, Let's Dance
Pick a theme, pick a style or pick a song — the best-value dance floor in East Yorkshire is one enquiry away.
