About This Spice Girls Hen Party Dance Class in Gloucester

Nineties girl-power, done properly. This is the routine your group already half-knows from the back of the car and the kitchen at 1am — platform-boot stomps, pointed fingers, the big shout-along chorus — pinned into something you can genuinely perform together. It is loud, daft and impossible to get through with a straight face.

Everyone claims their spice: the bossy one, the sporty one, the baby of the group. We share the moments out so nobody hides at the back and the bride gets the centre spot she is owed. Steps come first and slowly, personality second, and complete beginners are the entire point of it.

We bring the class to your door anywhere across the city — a lounge in Longlevens, a flat near the Cross, a let handy for the Quays outlet if a spot of shopping is in the plan. Clear a bit of floor and we arrive with the music, the sound system and a routine built for your numbers. Film it, then spill out into Gloucester still singing it.

What Our Hens Say

Spice Girls hen parties we have taught across Gloucester.

"We were in absolute stitches from the first stomp. Fifteen of us in leopard print, the bride front and centre as Scary, and somehow it looked half decent by the end. Our instructor was a total laugh."

— Charlotte Hazeldine ★★★★★

"Turned up at our house in Longlevens, cleared the front room and had us all shouting the chorus in twenty minutes flat. Every single person got their own spice — no one hid at the back."

— Emma-Jane Rudge ★★★★★

"Did the class then hit the Quays for cocktails, still humming it. Nobody in our lot can dance and it honestly did not matter one bit."

— Kayleigh Tinniswood ★★★★★
SG

"Pure nostalgia and a proper giggle. Patient with the shy ones, brilliant for a mixed-age group, and the bride loved every second. Spot on for a Gloucester hen do."

— Bronwen Larkham ★★★★★

Spice Girls Hen Party FAQ

Everything you need to know about our Spice Girls hen party dance class in Gloucester.

None of us are dancers. Will we cope? +

Easily. The moves are big and friendly rather than technical, we teach them slowly, and half the fun is that nobody is a dancer. By the chorus the whole group is stomping in time and shouting the words — polish is honestly beside the point here.

How is it priced, and will it creep up per head? +

It does not creep. The whole group is covered by one figure — £140 for an hour, £165 for ninety minutes — however many of you turn up. The single add-on is bubbly at a flat £10 if you want a toast midway. Nothing else lands on the bill.

Can everyone be a different Spice Girl? +

That is half the joy of it. We hand out the spotlight moments so each person gets a turn — the bride naturally taking the centre — and you can lean into whichever spice suits you. Nobody ends up stuck at the back.

Where do you run the class? +

Wherever you are based. A flat near the Cross, a house in Longlevens or Quedgeley, a hotel room or a holiday let all work. The instructor brings a speaker and adapts to your floor, so you only need enough room to stomp about. Staying out toward Churchdown or Kingsway? We settle the travel when you book.

What should we wear? +

Go full nineties if you fancy it — leopard print, platform trainers, a Union Jack somewhere. For the dancing itself, flats or trainers beat proper heels. We send round a few outfit ideas once you have booked so the group can plan a look together.

Can we make an afternoon of it around the Quays? +

Loads of groups do exactly that — a spot of outlet shopping, the class, then drinks by the water. Book an afternoon slot and it all links up. If you are leaving a car at the Quays into the evening, have a look at the closing time posted on the car park barrier first.
