About This Disney Hen Party Dance Class in Gloucester
Few cities conjure storybook magic as easily as Gloucester. The Cathedral's Great Cloister — the earliest fan vaulting anywhere in the world, its stone ceiling spreading out like frost across a windowpane — stood in for the corridors of Hogwarts on screen, and a few steps away in College Court the tiny shop of the Tailor of Gloucester keeps Beatrix Potter's tale of midnight-stitching mice alive. It is a fitting setting for a hen party that wants enchantment rather than a nightclub.
The routine your choreographer puts together is a crowd-pleasing mix of the numbers everyone in the group can already hum — a burst of 'Let It Go', a splash of 'Under the Sea', the soar of 'A Whole New World' — pairing graceful, regal arm-work with a wink of villain mischief so nobody sits a moment out. It goes on slowly, step over step, until the whole party is gliding through it as one.
One honest word: the cloisters and the Tailor's little shop are there to wander through and photograph, not spaces we hire — we simply soak up the storybook mood. You need no dancing background whatsoever; if you can spin on the spot and point a make-believe wand, the ballroom is basically already yours.

What Our Hens Say
Disney hen parties we have taught across Gloucester.
"We spent the afternoon dancing to 'A Whole New World' in full princess dresses and it was pure joy. Our choreographer taught it slowly enough that even the least confident of us looked graceful by the finale."
— Elowen Fricker ★★★★★"The villain section was the surprise hit — a whole gang of us doing our best wicked-queen sass, then the medley softening into something genuinely beautiful. The perfect balance of daft and graceful."
— Maren Colwall ★★★★★"None of us are dancers and it did not matter one bit. The 'Under the Sea' part was so upbeat we forgot to be self-conscious, and the bride absolutely shone leading her own little fairy tale."
— Tabitha Sindall ★★★★★"We booked it after a wander round the Cathedral cloisters put everyone in a storybook mood, and the class matched it perfectly. Twirls, tiaras and 'Let It Go' at full volume — magical from start to finish."
— Verity Ashwin ★★★★★Disney Hen Party FAQ
Everything you need to know about our Disney hen party dance class in Gloucester.
Which Disney songs will we dance to? +
A medley of the big anthems — usually something from Frozen, a bit of 'Under the Sea' and a soaring ballad like 'A Whole New World' — woven into one routine. If the bride has a favourite film, tell us and we will lean that way.
Is it just for people who love princesses? +
Not at all. We balance the graceful princess sections with playful, higher-energy villain moments, so hens who prefer a bit of sass to sparkle get their moment too. There is something in it for everyone.
Do we get to dance in the Cathedral or the Tailor's shop? +
No — those are wonderful places to visit before or after, but the class itself runs in our studio or at your own venue. We borrow the city's fairy-tale atmosphere for inspiration, nothing more.
None of us can dance — will we cope? +
Easily. The routine is built for complete beginners and taught slowly, step by step. If you can twirl and wave your arms about, you already have everything you need.
How much does it cost and for how many? +
A flat £140 for an hour or £165 for ninety minutes, covering the instructor and choreography for any group size. Bubbly can be added for a flat £10 if you fancy a toast.
What should we wear? +
Anything you can move in — plenty of groups add tiaras, sashes or a splash of their favourite film's colours. Comfy shoes you can spin in are the one real must.
