About This Wicked Hen Party Dance Class in Oxford

Cast a spell over your celebration with a Wicked hen party dance class in Oxford — a soaring, dramatic routine drawn from Defying Gravity, Popular and What Is This Feeling? Your choreographer shapes big theatrical movement around the bride, weaving the Elphaba-and-Glinda magic into steps that beginners can genuinely pull off.

Oxford is the right kind of storybook city for a witch-and-wizard tale: Christ Church's great hall inspired the look of the Hogwarts hall — a studio replica was built for the films, so we say inspired rather than filmed there — and Lewis Carroll dreamed up Alice's topsy-turvy world along the Isis. We lean into that spellbook whimsy, with the towers of books at Blackwell's on Broad Street standing in for a library of enchantments, while keeping the actual magic on the studio floor. We teach near George Street and Gloucester Green, or we bring the green glow to your venue anywhere across Oxford and Oxfordshire.

You do not need to have danced a step before — the drama does the heavy lifting and the moves are built for beginners. Whether you searched for a Wicked dance hen party Oxford or a Wicked hen do Oxford, you will finish with a goosebump-inducing number and a bride ready to defy a little gravity of her own.

Wicked Hen Party FAQ

Everything you need to know about our Wicked hen party dance class in Oxford.

Is Wicked too hard for beginners? +

Not the way we teach it. The wow comes from dramatic, sweeping movement rather than tricky footwork, so beginners look powerful fast. Your choreographer builds it section by section until the whole group soars together.

Which songs do you use? +

Defying Gravity is the showpiece, often paired with Popular and What Is This Feeling? for contrast. Tell us the bride's favourite and we will centre the routine on it.

Where in Oxford do you teach? +

A central studio near George Street and Gloucester Green, or an East Oxford room off the Cowley Road. We also travel to hotels, Airbnbs and function rooms across Oxford and Oxfordshire.

How much does it cost? +

A flat £140 for an hour or £165 for ninety minutes, whatever the group size — no per-head pricing. A shared bottle of bubbly can be added for £10.

Can the bride have a solo moment? +

Of course. Most brides take the Elphaba lead for the big Defying Gravity build, with a best friend often stepping in as Glinda. We shape the spotlight however your group wants it.

What should we wear? +

Emerald greens, blacks and a witchy hat lift the photos, and a pink touch for your Glinda is always a winner. Wear shoes you can move in and save any dramatic capes for the pictures.
