Join the Oxford Team
The Oxfordshire diary keeps filling up — the regular weekly classes, the wedding first dances, the school workshops and the busy run of Saturday hen dos all need trained dancers who can genuinely hold a room.
Paid Properly
Weekly classes pay from £22 an hour and hen or wedding choreography from £25 — set before you begin, paid promptly, with no invoices left chasing.
Around Your Career
You tell us when you are free and we do the booking. Most of our instructors do anywhere from two to ten hours a week around auditions, contracts and touring — then put it on hold the moment a gig comes in.
Room to Build
Build up a weekly class of your own with our marketing driving sign-ups, take casting leads from the events we run, and move across roles as you develop.

Dance Jobs Oxford FAQ
What dancers usually want to know before they join the Oxford team.
Do I need a formal teaching qualification for dance work in Oxford?
Nice to have, but not a requirement. What lands the role is solid training or real stage experience, plus the knack of holding a room of strangers. A lot of our finest teachers arrived at teaching through performing rather than the reverse.
How much does the teaching pay in Oxford?
A regular class pays from £22 an hour, while hen and wedding choreography starts at £25. The rate is settled ahead of each booking, paid on schedule, and nudged up as your hours grow.
What styles do you currently need teachers for in Oxford?
Every style on our twenty-strong timetable, from ballet, ballroom and tap to street, K-pop and heels, plus dedicated hen party leads and first-dance choreographers. Our Oxford schedule is still expanding, so teachers who can cover a few styles fill their diaries first.
Are these employed positions or freelance?
Freelance and flexible, shaped entirely around when you are free. Some teachers keep to one weekly class; others pile classes, weekend hen dos and school workshops into an almost-full week. Nothing has to be used up or forfeited.
I'm still auditioning and performing — will the teaching work around it?
Exactly the dancers we want on the books. A big share of our Oxford teachers are active performers who fit classes in around their contracts. Tell us roughly when you can commit and we shape the work to match, then hold off entirely while you are away touring.
