About This Grease Hen Party Dance Class in Lancaster
Grab your best girls, a pink satin jacket and a bouncy ponytail: our Grease hen party dance class drops your whole group straight into Rydell High for an hour of jukebox rock and roll, right here in Lancaster. One of our instructors comes to you, teaches a proper routine from scratch, and by the end you will be snapping through it like the closing scene at the fair.
Lancaster wears the fifties well. Between the Georgian frontages of Church Street and the cobbled setts of Market Square, the city has the kind of handsome old bones that make a swishy-skirt, greased-quiff throwback feel completely at home. Book a studio in the centre and you are a short stroll from the square for photos afterwards, or we bring the whole class to your hotel function room or Airbnb.
You pick the vibe: flirty Pink Ladies sass, strutting T-Bird swagger, or the full You're the One That I Want transformation for the bride. Nobody needs to have danced before. We break every move down slowly, keep it laughing-out-loud fun, and make sure the hen ends up dead centre for the big finish.

Everything you need to know about our Grease hen party dance class in Lancaster.
Do we need any dance experience for the Grease class? +
None whatsoever. The routine is built for total beginners: we teach every count slowly, repeat it until it sticks, and keep the mood light. If your group can walk and giggle, you can do this.
Where in Lancaster does the class happen? +
Wherever suits you. We can set up in a hire studio near Market Square or St George's Quay, or bring the whole class to your hotel function room, holiday cottage or Airbnb anywhere across Lancaster and the Lune Valley. The venue is confirmed when you book.
How much does it cost? +
It is 140 pounds for a one-hour class or 165 pounds for ninety minutes, and that covers the instructor and choreography. You can add chilled bubbly at 10 pounds per person for a toast, and there may be venue hire on top if we are using a studio.
How big can the group be? +
Anything from around five hens up to thirty-plus. Larger groups just get a slightly bigger space and a couple of formation tweaks so everyone can see and be seen.
Can we pick the songs? +
Absolutely. Most groups love the obvious Grease anthems, but tell us the bride's favourite and we will build the routine around it. Add any requests in your enquiry.
What should we wear? +
Comfy shoes you can move in and whatever fifties dress-up you fancy: pink jackets, neck scarves, rolled jeans, ponytails. Nothing official is required, just come ready to dance and laugh.
