About This RuPaul Hen Party Dance Class in Swansea

Swansea has always known how to put on a show and welcome everyone to it. Wind Street on a good night is one long, loud, come-as-you-are party, and Uplands keeps its own warm, independent buzz just up the hill. Into that spirit we drop a RuPaul dance hen party Swansea groups can genuinely own — a celebration of confidence, camp and self-belief, built for a bride who wants her hens strutting rather than sitting still.

The routine is all runway attitude — the fierce walk, the duck-walk drop, the death-drop finish if the group is game, the hand-on-hip pose that stops traffic. We teach it in patient, laughter-filled stages so first-timers feel safe to be bold, then crank the drama up until everyone is serving looks. A RuPaul dance hen do Swansea is really a confidence workshop wearing sequins, and that is exactly why it works.

We bring the whole thing to your door — the speaker, the playlist, the choreography — to a Mumbles rental, an Uplands townhouse, an SA1 apartment or a Gower barn. No club booking, no waiting on a night out; just your group, your runway and a filmed strut to treasure, before you spill onto Wind Street feeling fabulous.

What Our Hens Say

RuPaul hen parties we have taught across Swansea.

"Empowering is the only word. Our teacher had the whole group strutting with actual confidence by the end. The bride's runway walk got a standing ovation from the rest of us. Perfect before Wind Street."

— Elin Llewhellin ★★★★★
RuPaul

"Came out to our Uplands place and turned the hallway into a catwalk. Sixteen of us serving looks and screaming laughing. Warm, inclusive and so much fun. The video is everything."

— Nerys Tucker ★★★★★

"None of us are dancers and it did not matter. It was all attitude and drama and belly laughs. My shy cousin came out of her shell completely. Best hen idea we could have picked in Swansea."

— Cerian Nicholas ★★★★★

"So fierce and so welcoming. Patient teaching, then it just clicked and we all felt fabulous. We did our glam, learned the strut and floated down to the Marina after. Loved it."

— Bronwen Gwynne ★★★★★

RuPaul Hen Party FAQ

Everything you need to know about our RuPaul hen party dance class in Swansea.

Where in Swansea does the RuPaul class happen? +

At a venue of your choice. Most groups use their own accommodation — a Mumbles rental, an Uplands townhouse, an SA1 apartment or a Gower farmhouse — which turns your front room into a private runway. We are fully mobile and bring the speaker and floor plan. For Gower and Mumbles stays we simply confirm travel and timing when you book.

What does it cost, and is anything hidden? +

It is £140 for an hour or £165 for ninety minutes, and that single fee covers the whole group rather than being per head. The choreographer, the tailored routine, the music and the filmed catwalk are all included. The only optional extras are a £10 bubbly toast for the room and venue hire, which applies only if you would prefer us to arrange a space rather than use your own.

Is this suitable if we have never danced? +

Completely. It is built for first-timers and taught in gentle, encouraging stages, so nobody feels put on the spot. RuPaul-style choreography lives on confidence and attitude far more than technical steps, and we coach the walk and the poses so everyone feels fierce. The death-drop is entirely optional and only for those who fancy it.

How many hens can take part? +

From a group of five up to thirty or more. Larger numbers make the runway parade even better, and we split bigger groups so everyone gets a solo strut. Just make sure the room has a clear catwalk length for everyone to walk, and we tailor the formations and the drama to your size on the day.

Can we dress up for it? +

We actively encourage it. Sequins, feather boas, heels, sashes, a full glam look if you fancy — it all lifts the runway and the video. We keep the choreography camera-friendly so the outfits take centre stage. Many Swansea hens do the class in their going-out glam and sashay straight on to Wind Street afterwards.

How far ahead should we book? +

Weekend dates in spring and summer go quickly, so six to eight weeks ahead is wise, and longer in peak wedding season. Weekday and off-season hens can sometimes be booked at shorter notice. Enquiring early gives us the best chance of matching your preferred time around the rest of your Swansea plans.
