Join Our Swansea Team

Our Swansea diary is filling out fast, and there is more coming: regular weekly classes, Saturday hen parties, first-dance choreography for couples and workshops in schools all want professional dancers who genuinely enjoy passing it on.

Paid Properly

Weekly classes pay from £22 an hour, while hen parties and wedding choreography start at £25; every rate is settled before you begin and lands in your account on schedule, with no invoices to chase.

Around Your Career

Tell us the hours you can offer and we book work into them. Plenty of our people teach anything from a couple of hours to ten across a week, slotting it around castings, contracts and touring, then stepping back the moment a job lands.

Room to Build

Turn a single class into a full timetable with our marketing driving the bookings, take on casting through the events we run, and drift between teaching and choreography as your range widens.

Positions Available

There are three kinds of role going; take a single one or juggle the lot. Whoever can cover several styles gets the earliest choice of Swansea slots.

Hen Party Instructor

From £25/hr

Lead themed choreography for hen groups, either at a city-centre studio or wherever they happen to be staying — the loudest, liveliest and best-paid weekend work we hand out.

  • 38+ themes, choreography provided
  • 1–1.5 hour sessions
  • Studios & come-to-you across Swansea & Gower
  • Weekend availability essential

Wedding Dance Choreographer

From £25/hr

Shape first dances for couples one pair at a time, behind closed doors — a calm, patient manner counts for far more here than a long list of credits.

  • 1-hour private lessons
  • Your schedule, their song
  • Song editing support provided
  • Beginner-teaching experience essential

Regular Class Teacher

From £22/hr

Take a weekly slot in whichever style is yours, gather regulars week on week and grow it from there, while our marketing quietly keeps the room full.

  • 20 styles on the timetable
  • Evening & weekend slots
  • Adults & children's classes
  • Marketing support included

Dance Jobs Swansea FAQ

The things dancers usually want to know before joining the Swansea team.

Do I need a teaching qualification to apply?

Helpful, but never a must. The job goes to whoever brings professional training or genuine performance experience and can command a room — most of our strongest instructors arrived at teaching through dancing, not through a certificate.

What do dance instructors get paid here?

A standard class pays from £22 an hour, and hen party or wedding choreography from £25; the figure is fixed with you ahead of each booking, paid promptly, and nudged upward as your workload grows.

Which dance styles are you hiring for?

Every one of the twenty styles we run, from ballet and ballroom through to street, K-pop and heels, plus hen party leads and wedding choreographers. With the Swansea diary growing, anyone who covers a few styles books up quickest.

Is the work full-time or freelance?

It is freelance and shaped around the hours you give us. One teacher might hold a single weekly class; another piles classes, weekend hens and school workshops into an almost-full week. You never lose a slot by leaving it unused.

I still perform and audition — can teaching work around that?

Those are precisely the people we want. Most of the Swansea team are performers who slot teaching between their own contracts; give us the shape of your week and we work to it, then hold it open the moment a tour comes in.
