About This Chicago Hen Party Dance Class in Swansea
Bring a shot of jazz-age glamour to your celebration with a Chicago dance hen party Swansea that struts straight out of a smoky 1920s speakeasy. Your choreographer sets slinky chair work, rolling shoulders and knowing cabaret attitude to All That Jazz and the Cell Block Tango, all shaped around the bride so that total beginners look like they have been vamping under the spotlights for years.
The Roaring Twenties reached Swansea too. While the town was still sending the world's copper down the Tawe from the Hafod works, its dance halls and the bars now lining Wind Street filled with hot jazz and feathered fringe. We lean into that monochrome, cheek-and-fishnet mood on the studio floor, then point you round to the Marina for the photographs. Sessions run in a central studio near Castle Square, or we bring the whole speakeasy to your Wind Street hotel or a Mumbles bolthole.
There is no dance experience needed — the swagger does the work and every step is built for beginners. Whether you pictured a Chicago dance hen do Swansea with the whole group in matching fringe, or simply want a cheeky Roxie moment for the bride, you will finish with a razzle-dazzle routine and a set of photos dripping in old-Hollywood glamour.

What Our Hens Say
Chicago hen parties we have taught across Swansea.
"Our choreographer had eight of us slinking through All That Jazz in an hour flat. The bride's Roxie bit had us howling — best decision of the whole weekend."
— Ffion Meredith ★★★★★"Booked it at our hotel just off Wind Street and it set the tone perfectly before we hit the bars. Proper 1920s glamour, zero cringe."
— Carys Llewellyn ★★★★★"They came to our Airbnb in Uplands and turned the living room into a speakeasy. The fishnets came out and none of us stopped laughing."
— Rhian Prosser ★★★★★"We can't dance to save our lives and still ended up feeling like Velma and Roxie. The Marina photos afterwards were unreal."
— Bethan Caddick ★★★★★Chicago Hen Party FAQ
Everything you need to know about our Chicago hen party dance class in Swansea.
Is Chicago too hard for total beginners? +
Not at all — it runs on attitude rather than athletics. Most of it is slow struts, chair work and shoulder rolls taught in small chunks, so a group who have never danced will still ooze confidence by the final pose.
Which songs do you use? +
All That Jazz is the anchor, usually with a burst of the Cell Block Tango and a touch of Roxie for the bride. Tell us her favourite from the show and we will build the routine around it.
Where in Swansea do you teach? +
A central studio near Castle Square and Wind Street, or we come to your hotel, Airbnb or function room across Swansea, the Mumbles and Gower. There is no tram, so we plan the walk or transfer from the station or your hotel with you.
How much does it cost? +
A flat £140 for an hour or £165 for ninety minutes, whatever the group size — never per head. A shared bottle of bubbly can be added for £10 if you fancy toasting the bride.
Can the bride have her own moment? +
Absolutely. She usually takes the Roxie or Velma lead for the standout section, and we can hand a best friend a rival-diva spotlight too. The staging bends to whatever your group wants.
What should we wear? +
Black is the go-to, lifted with fringe, feathers, fishnets and a splash of sparkle. Wear shoes you can actually move in and save the boa for the photos afterwards.
