About This Pole Dancing Hen Party Dance Class in Swansea

Pole dancing is the hen activity that surprises everyone — it looks intimidating, then turns out to be equal parts giggling, cheering each other on and genuine strength you did not know you had. A pole dancing hen party Swansea covers the basics from the ground up: a confident walk around the pole, a first beginner spin, a pose or two for the camera, all taught by a qualified instructor on properly maintained equipment. No experience is needed and nobody is expected to do anything beyond a beginner's first session.

Unlike our other hen themes, pole needs fixed, safety-checked poles and matting, so a pole dancing hen do Swansea runs at an equipped studio rather than your accommodation — it is the one style we cannot honestly bring to a living room, because doing it safely matters more than doing it anywhere. We arrange the studio space as part of the booking, conveniently placed for the city and easy to reach from wherever you are staying, whether that is the Marina and SA1, Uplands, or further out towards the Mumbles. You just turn up ready to laugh and give it a go.

The session runs through a warm-up, a handful of beginner spins and poses, and plenty of time for photos and cheering the bride on. It is a fantastic confidence boost and a proper giggle, with everything scaled to what your group is comfortable trying. Pricing stays flat and clear — £140 for the hour and £165 for ninety minutes, covering the instructor and equipped studio time, from five hens to thirty — and the bride's bottle of bubbly is available for an optional £10.

— Efa Rowlands ★★★★★
PD

"Such a giggle and a genuine workout. They sorted a studio near the centre so it was easy for everyone staying around the Marina. The bride felt like a total superstar."

— Non Cathcart ★★★★★

"Ten of us, zero experience, endless laughing. The instructor scaled it perfectly and nobody felt pushed. Honestly the confidence boost lasted for days afterwards."

— Delyth Sankey ★★★★★

"Booked it as the bold option for a hen do and it delivered. Loved that they were straight that it needs a real studio rather than fibbing about a living room. Brilliant fun."

Pole Dancing Hen Party FAQ

Everything you need to know about our Pole Dancing hen party dance class in Swansea.

Do you come to our accommodation for pole? +

This is the one theme where we honestly cannot — pole needs fixed, safety-checked poles and proper matting, and doing it safely in a living room is not something we will pretend is possible. Instead we arrange an equipped studio as part of your booking, well placed for the city and easy to reach from the Marina, Uplands, the Mumbles or wherever your group is staying.

Do we need any experience or strength? +

None at all — this is a genuine beginners' session. We start with a confident walk around the pole and a first simple spin, building only as far as your group is comfortable. There is more strength in most people than they expect, and the instructor scales everything to the room. Plenty of hens who arrive nervous end up the keenest of the lot.

What should we wear? +

Shorts and a comfy top are ideal, because a bit of bare skin on the arms and legs helps you grip the pole safely. Avoid oils, lotions or heavy moisturiser on the day for the same reason. Bring a pair of grippy socks or dance if you prefer, and leave rings and long jewellery off so nothing catches during the spins.

Is it safe? +

Very — safety is exactly why we run it in a proper studio rather than an Airbnb. The poles are professionally installed and checked, there is matting throughout, and a qualified instructor supervises every move and never pushes anyone beyond a comfortable beginner level. You only try what you are happy to, and there is always a spotter's eye on the room.

What does it cost and what is included? +

A flat £140 for the hour or £165 for ninety minutes, and that single fee covers the qualified instructor and the equipped studio time for groups of five up to thirty. It includes the warm-up, the beginner spins and poses, and plenty of photo time. The bride's bottle of bubbly is an optional £10 extra on the day.

How many hens can take part? +

Between five and thirty on the same flat rate, though for pole we will match the studio and pole count to your numbers so everyone gets proper time on the equipment. Larger groups tend to rotate in smaller waves with plenty of cheering in between. Ninety minutes is worth considering for a big party so no one is waiting around.
