About This Samba Hen Party Dance Class in Blackpool

Samba is pure carnival pressed into an hour, and a Samba dance hen party Blackpool session drops all that colour and bounce straight into your seaside weekend. This is the Brazilian street style rather than the ballroom version — light, springing feet, rolling hips and a huge group finish that would not look out of place under the Illuminations. No partners, no experience, just a room full of hens finding the rhythm together.

We bring the class to you, whether that is a hotel function room on the North Shore, a hired space near the Tower or somewhere out along the Fylde coast. Your instructor starts with the samba bounce — that soft knee action every step is built on — then adds travelling steps and arms until the whole group is moving as one carnival line. The confident ones get room to shine and the nervous ones are carried along by the beat.

A Samba dance hen do Blackpool is priced flat and honestly: £140 for the hour or £165 for ninety minutes for the whole group, never per person, so latecomers do not cost you a thing. Chilled bubbly is an optional £10 if you fancy a toast at the end. We are an independent instructor-led team, so what you see is a real class, not a booking funnelled off to some anonymous venue.

What Our Hens Say

Samba hen parties we have taught across Blackpool.

"By the second song the whole room was bouncing and nobody cared how it looked. She got my gran travelling across the floor with the rest of us. We were sweating and crying laughing in equal measure."

— Cass B. ★★★★★
Samba

"Came to our hotel near the Tower and turned it into a carnival for an hour. The energy carried straight into the night out. Easily the loudest, happiest part of the whole trip."

— Kelsie B. ★★★★★

"One price for all of us even when two more turned up unannounced. Fourteen hens doing the same bounce at the same time is a sight. The bride has not stopped talking about it."

— Jorja B. ★★★★★

"We did samba in the afternoon then walked the Prom under the lights still doing the arms. A hen do that actually taught us something and knackered us out in the best way."

— Aimie B. ★★★★★

Samba Hen Party FAQ

Everything you need to know about our Samba hen party dance class in Blackpool.

Is samba hard if none of us can dance? +

Not the way we teach it. Carnival samba is about energy far more than precision, so the routine is built to look brilliant even when the timing is loose. The instructor breaks the bounce and the travelling steps into small pieces and speeds up only when the whole room is ready. Groups are always surprised how quickly a party with no dancers in it starts to look like a carnival.

Do you come to our accommodation in Blackpool? +

Yes — bringing the class to you is how we usually run. We will set up in your hotel function room, a hired studio or any space with a bit of clear floor, anywhere from Bispham and North Shore down to South Shore. Send us the postcode with your enquiry and we will confirm it works. We do not tie the class to one fixed venue, so it fits around wherever your weekend is based.

How many hens can join a samba class? +

Samba genuinely gets better with numbers, so anything from around five up to a big party works. The group carnival format means a large line looks spectacular rather than chaotic. For bigger groups we will just check the room gives everyone space to travel and swing their arms. Give us a rough headcount when you enquire and we will advise on space and timing.

What is the price and does it change if numbers do? +

It is a flat group rate: £140 for a full hour or £165 for ninety minutes, covering the whole party rather than charged per head. If a few extra hens arrive on the day the cost stays exactly the same. The only optional extra is chilled bubbly at £10 for a toast. You will have the full total confirmed in writing before committing.

Could we tie it into the Illuminations or an evening out? +

Plenty of groups do. A daytime samba class sets the tone perfectly for an evening along the lit-up Promenade, and the seafront tramway makes hopping between a North Shore hotel and the town centre simple. We will slot the class into whatever time suits your itinerary — early afternoon before the lights, or earlier if you have a big night booked.

What should we wear for samba? +

Comfortable clothes you can move and sweat a little in, and trainers or flat shoes with a bit of grip. Samba is energetic, so leave the heels for the evening. Some brides bring a sash or matching tops for the photos, which looks great against all the movement, but none of that is required. We will mention anything specific once we know your space.
