Dance Classes in Bournemouth
20 Styles of Dance Class in Bournemouth
Every Level, Genuinely
In most of our sessions the beginners outnumber everyone else, so nobody feels out of place — every style opens with a starter level where nothing is taken for granted. Improvers get their own tier and teachers who genuinely know the craft. Organising a hen do? The same choreographers cover both, on one booking.
Timetabled for Bournemouth Life
Weeknight and weekend classes at town-centre studios, all walkable from the Square, the Lansdowne and Old Christchurch Road — an after-work session is genuinely realistic whichever direction you come in from. Drop in as you please or block-book and save. Wedding on the horizon? Our wedding dance lessons use the very same rooms.
From £8 Per Class
Every class is £8, flat — one drop-in or a four-week block lands at the same rate, with no sign-up fee, no contract and no gym-style tie-in. Sample one style this week and a different one next. Keen to begin? Say hello.

Dance Classes in Bournemouth FAQ
The things people ask us before booking their first class in Bournemouth.
How much do dance classes in Bournemouth cost?
Every class is £8, whether you drop in once or take a four-week block — the rate doesn't move. No membership, no contract; try a style and judge it for yourself.
Where in Bournemouth do the classes run?
Adult classes are at partner studios in the town centre, minutes from the Square and the Lansdowne; children's classes run in halls across the districts. Bournemouth station sits about a mile inland, so it's a short bus or taxi down. Your chosen style's page carries the detail.
I'm a complete beginner. Which class should I start with?
Start with the music that already moves you — that outlasts any head start on technique. Salsa, street dance and ballet pull the largest beginner groups here, but all twenty styles begin with a level for total newcomers.
Are there classes for children?
Yes — age-grouped children's classes run in most styles with DBS-checked teachers. Street dance and ballet get asked for most; note your nearest district on the enquiry form and we'll point you to it.
Do I need a partner for the partner styles?
Not at all — salsa, bachata, ballroom and tango rotate partners by default, so turning up on your own is completely normal. Bring someone and stick with them, or swap round and meet the whole class.
