Class Structure
Beginners Class — 60 Minutes
First Ten Minutes
A brisk warm-up, then a single unison drill where the whole group nails two or three counts at precisely the same beat. K-pop is a team moving as one body, and that idea gets planted right away.
Pulling The Point Apart
We isolate the track's headline gestures and slow them almost to a standstill — the exact bend of a wrist, the angle of a hand — because these signature moves have to be pixel-perfect before speed is allowed anywhere near them.
Assembling The Chorus
The chorus comes to you in bite-size pieces. Each piece is taken to full tempo and made solid before the next is stacked on, which is why nothing you learn quietly falls out again.
Working The Formation
We add the map: who stands where, and how everyone swaps places on the beat. This is the layer that turns a clump of dancers into something that looks like a stage line-up.
The Full Run
We dance the section end to end together, film it if the group is up for it so you can check the sync, and cool down with a proper stretch.
About K-Pop Classes in Bath
No spin here: there is no regular weekly K-pop class running in Bath, and we are not going to pretend we can summon one from nowhere. What we do offer is genuinely useful — coach-led K-pop on dates that suit you, from a central studio or brought to a room near you, across Bath and North East Somerset. For fans dotted thinly around the area, it is finally a chance to dance the choreography with other people rather than alone.
The choreography is a discipline of its own, and that is precisely what makes landing it so satisfying. It hinges on point moves — those sharp, memorable gestures built to be copied — slotted into tight formations that rotate and reshuffle on the beat, the whole thing polished to a camera-ready shine. We take real routines by the acts you stream, break the point moves down to a crawl, then reassemble everything at tempo until the room hits it in unison.
Being a seasoned dancer is not a requirement, and neither is knowing every member's name — loving the songs is the only entry pass. Whether you have half-learned a chorus at your mirror or are walking in completely cold, you get patient counts, everything shown as a mirror image, and a room pleased you came. Each class is £8 as you go, which is comfortably less than the merch you keep almost adding to your basket.

Why Choose K-Pop in Bath?
Sharpness You Notice
The whole form obsesses over clean, matched detail, and drilling that kind of accuracy tunes your body awareness quicker than most styles will.
Spacing And Teamwork
Tracking who goes where and when builds a genuine feel for the space around you — and honestly, few things beat a full room snapping into a formation on the identical beat.
Flexible And Nearby
Nothing weekly to lock into. We arrange a central studio or carry the session out to somewhere handy for you, anywhere across Bath and North East Somerset.
A Cover To Keep
You come away with real, film-ready routines from songs you already love. Share them online if the mood takes you, or just hoard the private thrill of having pulled it off.
Your K-Pop Journey
From first class to confident dancer — here is how it usually goes.
A Single Signature Move
Get One Gesture Right
Session one is about owning just one signature gesture, hands and timing dialled in exactly, because that one detail is the seed everything else grows from.
Do It As A Unit
Then the group performs it together, so the feeling of perfect unison registers early — that shared beat is the entire difference between K-pop and dancing on your own.
A Chorus You Can Hold
Joining The Gestures Up
The individual moves connect into a whole chorus you can carry the full distance without anyone calling numbers beside you.
Sharper, Quicker
We nudge the pace toward the record and tidy each small detail, until what you are doing genuinely matches the video instead of roughly waving at it.
The Verses And The Moves Between
Past The Chorus
The work stretches out on both sides of the chorus, into the verse choreography and the position swaps that carry the group from one big moment to the next.
Dead In Sync
You will feel the whole line strike the accents at the very same instant, and a phone clip played back starts to look properly staged.
Learning Choreo Quicker
It Goes In Faster
Every session your eye for catching and holding choreography improves, so a fresh routine now beds in far sooner than that first slow one did.
Aim For A Full Cover
A fair few of our regulars point the whole effort at a complete dance cover of a song they love — every position, every transition.
K-Pop in Bath FAQ
Everything you need to know before your first class.
Do I need dance experience for K-pop? +
Not a bit. Each gesture is demonstrated facing your way and dropped right down in speed, so a total beginner with no background keeps up from the first minute onward.
Is there a weekly K-pop class in Bath? +
There is not — no standing weekly K-pop night runs in the city. We arrange coach-led sessions with you directly instead, either at a central studio or brought to a space near your home.
Which groups do you teach? +
A changing blend of fresh comebacks and older favourites, steered by whoever turns up — tell us the acts you are into when you get in touch and we will centre the block on tracks you actually want.
What should I wear? +
Anything you can move sharply in, plus clean trainers. Lots of people go for fitted gear, purely because it makes checking your own lines and placement in the mirror simpler.
How much is it? +
A flat £8 per class, paid on the day. It is all set up one-to-one, so there is no form to sign and definitely no termly fee to pay in advance.
Where do classes run? +
Either at a central Bath studio or a venue right where you are. Our patch spans the city and North East Somerset, so Oldfield Park, Widcombe, Bear Flat, Bathampton and Combe Down all count.
How do I get there? +
There is no tram in Bath. For the centre, Bath Spa station is close by and Odd Down, Lansdown and Newbridge park-and-rides ease the parking squeeze. If we come to you, travel is whatever the group finds easiest.
Can we book as a group? +
Definitely. A private K-pop class suits a hen do, a birthday or a bunch of friends nicely — give us rough numbers and your corner of the Bath area, and we will set one up.
Do we film the routine? +
Only with the group's say-so. When everyone is keen, we record the final run so you can review the sync and keep the cover, but it is never compulsory and no one is pushed in front of the camera.
