About This Samba Hen Party Dance Class in Edinburgh

In August the Royal Mile becomes one long street stage — drummers, jugglers and dancers shoulder to shoulder — so Edinburgh is a city thoroughly at ease with noise and colour, and a samba dance hen party Edinburgh drops straight into that. Your choreographer gets everyone bouncing first — the springy knee-drive the whole style rides on — then stacks on darting feet, wide carnival arms and a marching parade shape, hunting grins well before anyone frets about getting it exact.

The drums do the convincing — rolling batucada patterns and big Brazilian anthems that drag even the shy ones onto the beat within minutes. Sessions run at New Town and Leith studios, address sent on booking, with George Street and the Cowgate perfectly placed to carry the racket on into the night. A samba dance hen do Edinburgh can just as happily come to your hotel or flat, right across the Lothians and over the Forth into Fife.

The cost keeps itself simple: one number for the whole parade however big it grows, £140 an hour or £165 for ninety minutes, with room hire the only thing that can be added. The last run gets filmed, and that video tends to earn more replays than any of the speeches. If the bride wants her weekend starting at full volume, this is the hour to book — feathers strictly optional, thoroughly encouraged.

Samba Hen Party FAQ

Everything you need to know about our Samba hen party dance class in Edinburgh.

We're a real range of ages and fitness — will samba be too much? +

Not at all. The choreographer builds in breathers, and everyone finds their own gear — you can bounce hard or keep it low and still land every step. It's high-energy by design but never a fitness test.

Do you provide the carnival feathers, or do we bring our own? +

Bring your own if you want the full carnival look — headdresses, feathers and glitter are all welcome. They're never required, but the finale photos love them, and we'll work in a break to get them on.

What music will we dance to at the samba hen party in Edinburgh? +

Rolling batucada drum patterns and big Brazilian party anthems, pitched fast but taught slow. Titles only, and if there's a track the bride wants leading the finale, put it on the form.

Whereabouts in Edinburgh does the samba class run? +

Studios in the New Town and down on the Leith waterfront, both an easy tram ride and confirmed on booking, with George Street and the Cowgate handy for after. Or we bring the whole parade to your hotel or flat across the Lothians.

Can we perform the routine again later? +

Plenty of groups do. Say so and the choreographer shapes the number so it holds up on a dancefloor months on — it makes a riotous surprise at a reception or a big birthday.

How much does a samba hen party in Edinburgh cost? +

One flat figure for the whole parade — £140 an hour or £165 for ninety minutes — with room hire the only extra when you use a studio, plus an optional £10 of fizz. Five hens or twenty-five, same price.
