Hen Party Dance Class Aberdeen
Aberdeen's Most-Booked Hen Activity
Everyone On the Same Routine
Book a dance hen party in Aberdeen and the whole group learns one number together — nobody peeling off into taxis, nobody sidelined on a chair. An hour or ninety minutes led by a professional choreographer, finishing on a filmed performance the group chat won't stop replaying. Getting married straight after? Our wedding dance lessons come from the very same choreographers.
Right Where the Night Kicks Off
Private studios around Hutcheon Street, Gallowgate and the city centre leave the class a short step from Belmont Street cocktails and Justice Mill Lane's late bars — or your choreographer turns up at your hotel or Airbnb with a speaker and a plan, anywhere across Aberdeen and the shire. Anyone who catches the bug can keep it going at our weekly dance classes in Aberdeen.
38+ Themes, One Flat Price
Decades, pop icons, musicals, world styles — go with whatever the bride actually loves and the routine gets built around it. The money bit is refreshingly plain: one price of £140 stands for the entire hen whatever the headcount, so nobody's charged per head — twenty of you or eight, you divide the same £140, which for a good-sized group drops to little more than a coffee each. With Union Square rail and Dyce airport both close, gathering a far-flung crew here is easy. Lock in a date.
Settle On a Hen Party Theme
More than 38 themes on the table — pick the one that's the bride all over and we craft the routine around it. Each is designed for people who've never danced.
80s
Neon leg-warmers, teased-out hair and choruses you belt at full volume — a sweat-on throwback session to prime the crew before the Belmont Street bars.
80s Hen Party
90s
Boyband spins and girl-group harmonies the bride could recite asleep — the decade this lot flatly refuse to leave behind.
90s Hen Party
2000s
Body glitter, bootcut jeans and one noughties chart-topper after another, glossy pop threaded with the R&B tracks this hen still quietly raps.
2000s Hen Party
ABBA
Platform boots, pointed disco fingers and mirror-ball spins non-stop — nobody cops to knowing the Swedish back-catalogue, and somehow every lyric arrives.
ABBA Hen Party
Ariana Grande
A towering ponytail, crisp little steps and unbothered-diva poise — glossy, of-the-moment and built to look unreal on a phone screen.
Ariana Grande Hen Party
Barbie
Pink top to toe, poses stiff as a boxed doll and a catwalk sway, the whole thing shot to look flawlessly moulded plastic.
Barbie Hen Party
Belly Dance
Slow hip drops, a coin belt jingling on every beat and a veil to whirl — a glamorous hour that walks every age and every shape out feeling a knockout.
Belly Dance Hen Party
Beyoncé
Razor-tight formations, that flash of the ring finger and arena-level swagger — the bride holds the middle while her squad drives every beat right behind her.
Beyoncé Hen Party
Bollywood
Guided from the front one step at a time — filmi colour bright as the screen, hands that tell the tale and a whole-group finish, with a nod to Aberdeen's Mela.
Bollywood Hen Party
Britney
Tartan-skirt schoolgirl, then head-to-toe black, and naturally the whip of the hair — those teenage mirror routines you never quite got, sorted at last.
Britney Hen Party
Burlesque
A feather boa dragged slow off the shoulder, a wink and a tease of a shimmy — and yes, everything stays on; the only thing that drops away is the nerves.
Burlesque Hen Party
Charleston
Flapper kicks, knees swivelling in and out and jazz-age sparkle head to toe — twenties glamour laid straight onto the Beach Ballroom's sprung floor, swinging since 1929.
Charleston Hen Party
Cheerleading
Sharp arm-hits, a chant with genuine lungs and — for the daring — a pyramid with the bride on top, pom-poms in the Dons' red of the 1983 Gothenburg night.
Cheerleading Hen Party
Chicago
Fosse cool through and through — shoulders rolling, fingers splayed and a hat brim dipped low, all smoke and speakeasy, the sultriest routine you'll pick.
Chicago Hen Party
Commercial
Take the current chart-topper and rehearse it until the lens loves it — sharpened to the standard Danscentre sets its adult crews, so watchers swear it's the actual video.
Commercial Hen Party
Dirty Dancing
A touch of mambo, a playful roll of the hip and — if nerve holds — that lift, spotters at the ready. No corner is having this bride.
Dirty Dancing Hen Party
Disney
Roar through the animated hits nobody will own up to adoring — count on one cracked high note, a sneaky tear and not a flicker of regret.
Disney Hen Party
Fame
Leg-warmers up, headband on and every eye on stardom — a breathless salute to the stage-school film, the bride's name in lights for one night.
Fame Hen Party
Flamenco
Hands coiling slow over a lifted chest, heels beating out the pulse — pure fire and defiance, and hands-down the noisiest routine in the room.
Flamenco Hen Party
Flash Dance
Overalls shrugged off, flat-out floor work and that head-thrown-back chair finish — a nod to North Sea oil grit and Rubislaw granite, and no, nobody ends up drenched.
Flash Dance Hen Party
Greatest Showman
Big-top swagger, anthems built for arenas and a roof-lifting this-is-me — the arms-flung finish that marches every hen out feeling unstoppable.
Greatest Showman Hen Party
Grease
Hand-jive in perfect time, a greaser swagger and Pink Ladies sass turned all the way up, closing on the whole crew bellowing that summer-nights chorus.
Grease Hen Party
High School Musical
Wildcats all the way — up on the cafeteria tables for an anthem so infectious the one hen adamant she won't dance is suddenly the one calling it.
High School Musical Hen Party
Irish Dancing
Riverdance-sharp up top — arms locked, legs firing through jig and reel — before it all spills into happy bedlam. Tougher than it looks and twice as funny.
Irish Dancing Hen Party
Line Dancing
Boots stamping, thumbs in the belt loops and a whole line spinning together — a hoedown so easy-going it drags in even the self-declared two-left-feet hen.
Line Dancing Hen Party
Musicals
A West End medley squeezed into one session — full-voiced showstoppers, jazz hands flashing and a real curtain-call bow, perfect before curtain-up at His Majesty's Theatre.
Musicals Hen Party
Pole Dancing
That first shaky spin, a silly pose and giggles nobody contains — held at a proper pole studio, never the holiday let, and asking zero upper-body strength, just a scrap of nerve.
Pole Dancing Hen Party
RuPaul
Strut the runway, sling the shade and lip-sync as if the crown's on the line — attitude top to toe, death drop your call, and a proud wink to Grampian Pride.
RuPaul Hen Party

A gentle Cuban sway, easy underarm turns and partners handed round so no one sits it out — straight off the levelled nights Latin Dance Aberdeen runs near Gallowgate.
Salsa Hen Party
Samba
Springing three-step feet, giant feather headdresses and a drum beat that simply won't stop — Rio carnival colour blazing against the grey granite for a full hour.
Samba Hen Party

The six wives reworked as a stadium girl group — crowns on, attitude maxed and that divorced-beheaded-survived roll-call belted, the bride front and centre.

£165 + venueAdd Bubbly

+£10How It Works
- Choose your theme — 38+ on the board; pick for the bride, never the show-off dancer.
- Lock the date — a summer Saturday in Aberdeen wants booking three to five months out.
- Studio or we travel — a city-centre studio, or the choreographer comes to your stay.
- Dance it and capture it — the filmed finale is part of the deal; whether you encore is on you.
Six hens or thirty, the price doesn't move — more of you simply means less to pay each.
Hen Party FAQ
What hen organisers want cleared up before they book in Aberdeen.
What does a hen party dance class in Aberdeen cost?
One flat price for the whole hen, not a per-head charge: £140 buys the hour and £165 the ninety-minute version, plus venue hire only if you take one of ours. Since the group shares one total, numbers work in your favour — split £140 between a dozen hens and it's about a tenner each, nowhere near the £30–£40 per person most activities ask. Fizz on arrival adds £10.
Whereabouts do you run the class, and how do we reach it?
Usually a private studio around Hutcheon Street, Gallowgate or the centre — handy for Belmont Street and Justice Mill Lane afterwards — though we're just as happy coming to your hotel, Airbnb or hired hall. There's no tram or metro here: it's First Aberdeen buses, taxis and driving, with the train station at Union Square and the airport out at Dyce. In winter, leave a little travel margin.
Which theme works best for us?
Go with the one the bride would seize the mic for. Around Aberdeen it's Spice Girls, ABBA and Beyoncé out in front, with the stage-musical routines — SIX, Wicked, Chicago — gaining fast. Stuck between a pair? We'll fold them together.
What if none of the group can dance?
None needed whatsoever. We split the choreography into bite-sized chunks and repeat each until it settles, the whole thing built for total beginners — it lands far sooner than anyone predicts at the start. Enthusiasm outdoes skill every single time, and the recording always looks better than it felt in the room.
Can everyone join in — mixed ability, pregnant, or not drinking?
Yes to all of it. The choreography flexes for every fitness level, there's no pressure to drink, and steps can be softened for anyone pregnant or nursing an injury — just tell your choreographer when you book. It's a laugh whether the group is sipping fizz or fully sober, and nobody's ever the odd one out.
Can we keep the routine for the big day?
A fair few do. Mention it up front and we'll build the routine solid enough to keep for the wedding and roll back out when the reception dancing starts. More than a few of our hen bookings, if we're honest, began as a surprise first dance the groom knew nothing about.
