Hen Party Dance Class Northampton
The Hen Do Northampton Still Talks About
The Whole Hen, One Routine
What makes a dance hen do work is that everyone moves together — one group, one routine, the same counts at once, so no one wanders off and no one ends up watching from a chair. An hour or ninety minutes with a professional choreographer, finishing on a filmed take the group chat replays for months. Marrying soon yourself? Our wedding dance lessons use the very same choreographers.
Minutes From the Night Out
Set the class in a private studio in the heart of Northampton and you are steps from a Market Square meal, Gold Street drinks and the Bridge Street bars for later — or have the choreographer come to your hotel, holiday let or booked hall anywhere across town or the county, music in hand. Anyone who gets hooked can keep it up at our weekly dance classes in Northampton.
Every Theme, One Group Price
Decades, pop icons, stage musicals and dances from around the world — choose what the bride truly loves and the routine gets built around it. Here is the good bit on cost: the £140 is for the whole hen however many show up, so instead of each person handing over £30 or £40 you all split one price — ten of you is roughly fourteen pounds a head, and every extra hen shrinks that further. A spread-out group finds Northampton easy, fast off the motorways and slap in the middle of the country. Pin down your date.
Choose a Hen Party Theme
There are over 38 themes on the board — pick the one that most sounds like the bride, and the choreography gets tailored to it. Not one of them needs any dancing history; every theme is designed for a group stepping onto the floor together for the first time.
80s
Neon everywhere, crimped hair and choruses sized for a stadium — a cardio-grade eighties blast, sweaty enough to double as the pre-night warm-up.
80s Hen Party

Bootcut denim, frosted gloss and one noughties banger after another — shiny chart-pop threaded with the R&B every hen can still rattle off word for word.

Slow hip drops, a coin belt jingling at every shift and a veil to sweep through the air — a giggly, glamorous hour that sends every hen out feeling a knockout, whatever her age or shape.

Pigtails and a tartan skirt one minute, sleek all-black the next, plus the famous hair-flip — the videos you once copied in the mirror, finally done justice.
Britney Hen Party
Burlesque
A flick of the feather boa, a slow teasing roll and as much sauce as you fancy — and to head off the question, everything stays firmly on; the only thing that loosens up is your confidence.
Burlesque Hen Party
Charleston
Knees-together flapper kicks and top-to-bottom jazz-age shimmer — roaring-twenties glamour nodding to Northampton's old boot-and-shoe factory floors and the crisp moderne lines of 78 Derngate.
Charleston Hen Party
Cheerleading
Crisp arm motions, chants loud enough to echo off the stands and, if the group's game, a pyramid with the bride crowning it — pom-poms shaking and green-black-and-gold Saints spirit in every count.
Cheerleading Hen Party
Chicago
All-that-jazz Fosse rolls, a tilted bowler hat and a slow, smoky strut — the sultriest routine pinned to the board, heavy with speakeasy cool.

Belt-them-out songs from the animated films nobody truly outgrows — expect a wobbly eye, one gloriously over-reached high note and zero embarrassment about either.

Legwarmers pulled high, sweatbands on and eyes fixed on stardom — a full-throttle salute to the dance-school film, and this time the bride's name goes up in lights.
Fame Hen Party
Flamenco
A proud lifted chest, spiralling wrists and heels cracking against the floor — fierce Spanish fire, and by a distance the noisiest thing happening in the building.

Irish Dancing
Everything above the waist locked stone-still while the legs machine-gun through reels and jigs, then a joyfully shambolic céilí where the rules go out the window — deceptively tough, and a proper laugh.

Heels digging in, thumbs in the belt loops and every row snapping through the same grapevine at once — a country hoedown so forgiving it'll carry even the group's proudest non-dancer.
Line Dancing Hen Party
Musicals
One session, a medley of the great stage anthems — big voices, flashing jazz hands and a proper curtain-call finish — ideal before catching a show at the Royal & Derngate or the Deco.
Musicals Hen Party
Pole Dancing
A wobbly first spin, a silly pose and non-stop laughter — held at a proper pole studio only, never at your accommodation, and needing no upper-body strength, just a dash of courage.
Pole Dancing Hen Party
RuPaul
Strut the runway, throw shade and lip-sync like the crown's on the line — full-tilt attitude from wig to heel, the death drop your own decision, and a heartfelt shout to Northampton Pride.

Warm Cuban rhythm, gentle underarm turns and a floor that keeps swapping partners so no hen sits out — flirtatious, chatty and possibly the quickest style to grasp on a first go, lifted from the town's own Latin nights.

Hooked claw-hands, a stiff-jointed zombie shuffle and that graveyard groove nearly everyone can half-do already — gloriously creepy in the town where Bauhaus dreamed up goth back in 1978.

+£10How It Works
- Choose the theme — 38+ to browse; let what the bride loves lead, not who dances best.
- Fix the date — a summer Saturday in Northampton is worth booking three to five months out.
- Pick the setting — use our town-centre studio, or we deliver the class to wherever you are based.
- Learn it and film it — each party closes on a recorded take; an encore is entirely up to you.
Six of you or thirty, the price is the very same figure — more hens simply means a smaller slice each.
Hen Party FAQ
The questions that come up most before a Northampton hen party gets booked.
What does a Northampton hen party dance class cost?
One flat fee covers the whole group — £140 for an hour or £165 for ninety minutes — with only studio hire on top, and only if you book one of our rooms. Because it is charged to the group rather than per person, the more of you come the less each pays: split £140 across a dozen hens and it lands near twelve pounds a head, well under the £30 or £40 a per-person activity charges. A chilled bottle on arrival is £10.
Where does it happen and how do we get there?
Usually a private studio in the middle of Northampton, an easy walk from Market Square, Gold Street and the Bridge Street bars for afterwards. Would you rather not move? We will bring it to your hotel, an Airbnb or a hall you have hired. There is no tram here — buses run into the North Gate station in the centre, the railway station sits on the west side, and taxis cover the outer suburbs and any county-house stay.
How do we choose a theme?
Go with whatever the bride would grab the microphone for on a night out. Spice Girls, ABBA and Beyoncé are the steady favourites, while the musical routines — SIX, Wicked, Chicago — keep gaining ground. Caught between two? We will weave them into a single routine.
None of us can really dance — does that matter?
Not in the slightest. The choreographer hands you the routine in small pieces you repeat until they stick, all pitched for people who have never danced, so it comes together quicker than you would guess. Turning up game counts far more than being any good — and the filmed run-through always looks better than it felt.
How far ahead should we book?
For a peak-summer Saturday, three to five months is sensible — those dates go first. If your weekend clashes with a Saints fixture at Franklin's Gardens or a big show at the Royal & Derngate, leave a little longer, as town beds and taxis get tight. Off-season or midweek, a fortnight is often plenty.
Can we save the routine for the wedding?
Plenty of hens do exactly that. Flag it at the outset and the choreographer builds something sturdy enough to survive the months in between and resurface when the reception floor opens up. More than a few of these bookings began life as a first dance kept secret from one half of the couple.
