Class Structure
Beginners Class — 60 Minutes
Warm-Up & Sharpness Drills
Mobility work plus the stop-start precision drills K-pop demands — clean angles, sudden holds and the stamina to keep both going for a full song.
Point Choreo, Count by Count
The chorus hook everyone recognises, slowed right down and drilled count by count until it is genuinely yours rather than approximately theirs.
Verses & Transitions
The connective tissue of the routine — verse choreography, level changes and the transitions that make a cover flow instead of stutter.
Formations & Spacing
Positions set, centre swaps rehearsed and spacing locked — K-pop is designed for the camera, and the shape of the group is half the choreography.
Full Run to the Track
Music up and full-out runs from the top — film the final one on your phone if you want the receipts — then a stretch-down before you go.
About K-Pop Classes in London
Walk along the South Bank on a Saturday and you will probably pass a cover crew mid-take — London films more K-pop covers than anywhere else in Europe. Add New Malden's Korean community, regular random-play-dance meets and arena tours that keep selling out, and this city is the natural home for K-pop dance classes in London.
We teach the actual choreography, not an approximation of it. The point moves everyone recognises get broken down count by count, the verses and transitions filled in, then formations set so the routine reads properly on camera. Beginners dance a cleaned-up version of the same song; experienced dancers chase every last detail.
Classes run at Zone 1–2 partner studios with the mirrors and floor space full-group formations need, all a short walk from the tube. Teens and kids get their own sessions with DBS-checked teachers — useful, given how much of the fandom is still at school — and adult groups run right through to seventy-five.

Why Choose K-Pop in London?
Choreo Built for Camera
Formations, angles and spacing are taught the way covers are filmed — so when your crew hits record on the South Bank, the routine actually reads.
Comebacks, Covered Fast
A new title track drops and class learns it, alongside the classics every fan already knows — requests shape the schedule.
Europe's Biggest Scene
Random play dance meets, filming days and crews recruiting — London's K-pop community is the continent's largest, and class is the easiest way in.
Idol-Level Fitness
Dancing a full title track at performance energy is a workout idols train years for — you build towards it one chorus at a time.
Your K-Pop Journey
From first class to confident dancer — here is how it usually goes.
First Song
Sharpness Basics
Clean stops, clear angles and counting in eights — the mechanics that make K-pop look expensive, built from zero.
Your First Chorus
The point choreography of one track, danced to music by week two and recognisable to any fan by week four.
Full Routines
Verse to Bridge
Whole songs assembled section by section, with the transitions and level changes that separate a cover from a thirty-second clip.
Formation Sense
Holding spacing, swapping positions and finding your camera line while dancing — the group skill K-pop is famous for.
Camera Confidence
Detail & Expression
Facial performance, hand detail and the micro-timing that makes a cover feel like the original rather than a copy of it.
Filming Runs
Full-out takes filmed in class, reviewed kindly, repeated better — exactly how the London cover crews work.
Debut Era
Crew-Ready
Able to learn a full routine quickly and hold your position in a group — the standard cover crews audition for.
Into the Scene
Random play dance events, filming meets and crew auditions across London — your teachers will point you at the right ones.
K-Pop in London FAQ
Everything you need to know before your first class.
Where do the K-pop classes run in London? +
At mirror-lined partner studios in Zones 1–2 with the floor space group formations demand — the specific venue is shared when you sign up. All of them are an easy walk from the tube, which matters when you leave class buzzing at nine at night.
How much will K-pop classes in London set me back? +
£8 on the door for any drop-in session, with nothing to sign and no commitment beyond the hour. Cheaper multi-class passes are planned once each studio's schedule is locked in.
Do I need to be a trained dancer to join? +
No — every routine is taught in layers, so beginners dance a cleaner, simplified version of the song while experienced dancers stack on the detail. Everyone finishes the track together.
What should I wear to K-pop class? +
Whatever you would wear to dance practice on a survival show: comfortable streetwear you can move and sweat in, plus clean trainers. If you plan to film the final run, wear something you would happily post.
Can we request a specific group or comeback? +
Yes — requests drive the schedule. Current title tracks usually enter rotation within weeks of release, and classics from every generation come back around regularly. Tell us the song on the enquiry form.
Do you teach both boy group and girl group choreography? +
Both, and everyone learns everything — girl group and boy group styles train different qualities, and the best cover dancers in London switch comfortably between the two.
How long until I can dance a full song? +
Most beginners have a complete routine — verses, chorus, transitions — inside four to six weekly classes. A recognisable chorus takes one session; the polish is what the following weeks add.
Is there a route into London's cover-dance scene from class? +
Very much so. Random play dance events, filming meets and crew auditions run across the city, and class is the standard preparation for all three. Your teacher can point you to beginner-friendly events when you are ready.
What ages are K-pop classes open to? +
Adults from 17 to 75 in the main sessions, with teen (15–16) and kids' (9–14 and 6–8) groups taught separately by DBS-checked teachers — fitting, since half the fandom still has homework.
