Join Our London Team

London is our busiest city and the diary keeps growing — weekly classes, weekend hen parties, wedding choreography and school workshops all need professional dancers who can teach.

Dance Jobs London FAQ

Common questions from instructors thinking about joining the London team.

Do I need a teaching qualification to apply for dance jobs in London?

Preferred, never essential. What earns the job is professional training or performance experience and the ability to hold a room. Plenty of our best instructors learned to teach by dancing, not the other way round.

How much do dance instructors get paid in London?

Regular classes start at £22 per hour; hen party and wedding choreography work starts at £25 per hour. Rates are agreed before every booking, paid on time, and reviewed as you take on more.

Which dance styles are you hiring for in London?

All twenty styles on our timetable — from ballet and ballroom to street, K-pop and heels — plus hen party instructors and wedding choreographers. London is our busiest diary, so multi-style teachers fill their weeks fastest.

Is the work full-time or freelance?

Flexible freelance, built around your availability. Some teachers take a single weekly class; others stack classes, weekend hen parties and school workshops into near-full weeks. Nothing is use-it-or-lose-it.

I perform and audition — can teaching fit around that?

That is exactly who we hire. Most of our London team are working performers who teach between contracts. Tell us your availability pattern and we will build around it — and pause it when you book a tour.
