About This Spice Girls Hen Party Dance Class in Blackburn
For a brief, glorious stretch in the mid-nineties, Blackburn was on top of the world. In May 1995 the town's football club were crowned champions of the whole country, and a year later 'Wannabe' arrived and girl power took over every school disco. That is the exact window a Spice Girls hen taps into, and it is one Blackburn genuinely lived through as a high point. The Spice Girls dance hen party Blackburn groups book with us leans on that home-town nineties buzz rather than a generic throwback.
The routine is all cheeky nineties attitude — the point, the wiggle, the peace-sign finish and a zig-a-zig-ah moment the whole room shouts together. We hand out the personas (there is always a debate over who gets to be which Spice), break the choreography into small forgiving chunks, and build it up until everyone is grinning through the chorus. A Spice Girls dance hen do Blackburn is less about clean technique and more about pure, unfiltered fun, which is exactly why it works for every age in the group.
We bring it all to you — a house party in Feniscowles, a hotel suite in the centre, a rental over on the Darwen side. The choreographer turns up with the speaker, the playlist and the platform-trainer energy, teaches the set, films the big finish, and leaves you ready to spill out around the Cathedral Quarter still humming the chorus. Friendship never ends, and neither does this hen.

Everything you need to know about our Spice Girls hen party dance class in Blackburn.
Where in Blackburn does the Spice Girls class run? +
Wherever your group is based. Most hens use their own space — a house in Feniscowles or Cherry Tree, a hotel suite in the centre, or a rental over towards Darwen. We are fully mobile and bring the speaker and floor plan, so you just need a room with space to move. For venues further out we confirm travel and timings when you book.
What is the price and are there hidden costs? +
A flat £140 for an hour or £165 for ninety minutes, covering the whole group rather than a per-head charge. The choreographer, the tailored medley, the music and a filmed run-through are all included. The only optional extra is a bubbly toast at £10 for the room, and venue hire only applies if you would prefer we book a space rather than use your own.
Do we get to be assigned Spice Girls? +
If you like. Plenty of groups love divvying up Scary, Sporty, Posh, Baby and Ginger — and the good-natured argument that follows is half the fun. It is entirely optional, though; some groups just want to dance the medley together without personas, and the choreographer is happy either way.
None of us are dancers — will we manage the routine? +
Easily. The whole thing is built for beginners and taught in small, repeated steps, so a group whose last dance was a school disco picks it right up. It is more about energy and singing along than perfect footwork, and the choreographer keeps it forgiving so nobody feels put on the spot.
How big can the group be? +
Anything from around five up to thirty or more. Bigger groups make the sing-along even louder and we shape the formations to fit. Just make sure the room comfortably holds everyone dancing with a little space, and we adjust the choreography and spacing to suit your numbers on the day.
How far in advance should we book? +
Weekend dates in spring and summer go first, so six to eight weeks ahead is wise, and longer over peak wedding season. Weekday and quieter dates can sometimes be arranged with less notice. Booking early gives the best shot at your ideal slot fitting around the rest of your Blackburn weekend.
