Class Structure
Beginners Class — 60 Minutes
Get Sharp First
This style is all clean, clipped movement, so we warm up for exactly that — snappy isolations, crisp starts and stops, and the sort of body control the choreography will shortly ask for.
Break the Verse Down
We take a genuine slice of a chart routine and strip it back move by move, drilling each shape slow and by itself until the counts feel secure — speed only arrives after that.
Spacing and Facings
Here is the piece the videos are known for — where you stand, where you look, and how the line reshapes itself halfway through a phrase. We plot it so the whole thing moves as one, not as a scatter of soloists.
Run It at Tempo
The whole part now goes full-speed, tidied and linked together, and we add the tiny hits and face-work that make a routine read properly once a camera is pointed at it.
Film It If You Like
An optional phone recording lets you watch back precisely what to sharpen next time, and then we stretch down properly after sixty minutes that finish at full pelt.
About K-Pop Classes in Belfast
No pop style is rehearsed as hard as K-pop — the accents fall dead on the beat, the group reshuffles halfway through a line, and a lens is on all of it. You cannot pick that up from the sofa with a pause button. Our k-pop dance classes in Belfast do it the slow, thorough way: real routines pulled from the charts, girl groups and boy groups both, dismantled and rebuilt a single count at a time.
Belfast is a genuine screen city, which suits a dance made for the camera perfectly. This is where Game of Thrones was filmed, where Titanic Studios keeps the cameras turning down on the waterfront, and where a big international student crowd around Queen's and the Botanic end keeps the floor busy and up for it.
No previous dancing is needed and Korean never comes into it — the numbers carry everything, and the tempo only rises once your slow version is rock-steady, so you leave even the first session with a chorus worth recording. Ages on the adult floor stretch from teenagers to people in their seventies, under-18s learn in supervised groups of their own, and a place costs £8 with no sign-up.

Why Choose K-Pop in Belfast?
Made for the Camera, in a Camera City
Belfast is where Game of Thrones was shot, at Titanic Studios on the waterfront — so a dance built to face a lens fits right in, with an optional weekly clip showing you what to sharpen.
Genuine Idol Choreography
You learn the real title-track routines from boy and girl groups rather than knock-offs — eased down just enough that a first-timer can keep up with everyone else.
A Young, International Floor
A large student city keeps the class packed, mixed and stacked with people around your own standard — good company to be finding your feet beside.
Room for Younger Fans
Teens and children get their own supervised, age-grouped sessions with checked teachers — one of the most popular things we run for that age bracket.
Your K-Pop Journey
From first class to confident dancer — here is how it usually goes.
Counts First
Your First Section
One short piece of a proper routine, learned slowly count by count. What matters early is getting it precise and clean, not rushing to full speed.
What to Wear
Something you can move crisply in and a clean pair of indoor trainers. Pack a layer to shed — the room warms you up faster than you would expect.
Speed and Spacing
Picking Up Pace
The slow version tightens and quickens, and the formations arrive — where you travel, when you turn, how the group snaps into sync.
Facing the Lens
Optional phone clips join in, pointing at whichever corner could do with a little polish before next week.
Full Routines
Whole Tracks
You start holding near-complete routines from chart songs — expression and accents and all — instead of a string of loose eight-counts.
Widening Out
We rotate through groups and eras so your range grows: a shelf of routines rather than one track worn into the ground.
Ready for the Lens
Single-Take Ready
Precise, in sync and sure enough to land a routine in a single pass, every facing sitting exactly where it should.
What Comes Next
Group filming days, our own events, or diving into the freshest comeback the second it lands.
K-Pop in Belfast FAQ
Everything you need to know before your first class.
Will no dance training and no Korean hold me back? +
Not by any measure. The whole class is counted out, so you never need a word of Korean, and complete newcomers are precisely the people we teach. You will feel the counts settle within your first session.
Do I actually have to be filmed? +
Entirely up to you. The optional phone clips exist because they genuinely help you improve, and Belfast happens to be a proper screen city — but no one is ever made to face the lens if they would rather not.
How soon can I dance a full routine? +
Expect a strong section in a few weeks and most of a full routine in a couple of months. Because we get the slow version watertight before adding pace, it never turns into a panic — just steady progress.
Where in Belfast are the K-pop classes? +
Partner studios in the city centre and out in the Titanic Quarter near the studios, with the exact room confirmed at booking. Grand Central is a short walk or Glider hop, and the flat centre is easy to cross on foot.
Girl-group or boy-group choreography? +
We do both, switching over the weeks. The routines are real title tracks taken from all corners of K-pop, with no locked-in artist list — our slow, counted approach copes with whatever track comes up.
What's a session cost? +
£8 a drop-in, no membership and no tie-in. As soon as your nearest studio fixes a weekly time, discounted blocks of sessions go on offer alongside it.
What should I wear? +
Something you can throw sharp movement in and a clean pair of indoor trainers, with a spare layer to peel off — the class builds from an easy start to a full-tilt finish, so the heat creeps up fast.
Can younger fans join in Belfast? +
Yes — there are supervised, age-grouped sessions for teens and kids, it ranks among the most requested things we run for that age, and zero prior dancing is required to begin.
Do you teach new comebacks or older hits? +
Both, really. The focus leans to current hits, but we work older favourites back through the term, which keeps things varied and leaves you with a whole set of routines instead of a single track drilled to death.
