Dance Classes in Stoke-on-Trent

Twenty Dance Styles Right Across Stoke-on-Trent

Real Beginners, Every Style

In the bulk of our Stoke-on-Trent sessions the people who have never danced are the majority, and every style opens at a level that takes nothing for granted. Anyone already trained steps up to improver work with choreographers who still perform. Sorting a hen do too? One team, one booking.

Made to Fit a Six-Town Week

Evening and weekend classes run at partner studios dotted through Hanley, Stoke, Longton and the other towns, so an after-work session works whichever part of the city you set off from. Come along when it suits or block-book and save. Wedding on the horizon? Our wedding dance lessons use the same rooms.

Dance Classes in Stoke-on-Trent FAQ

The things people most want cleared up before a first class in the Potteries.

What do dance classes in Stoke-on-Trent cost?

£8 a class, full stop — drop in once or book four weeks, the price doesn't move. Nothing is signed and nothing renews on its own — you only ever pay for the classes you actually come to.

Which town are the classes actually held in?

Stoke-on-Trent is six towns rather than one centre, so it depends on the style: Hanley covers the city centre, Stoke sits by the railway station, and there are studios out in Longton, Tunstall and Fenton as well. Each style's own page names its town, and driving is usually the simplest way across.

I have never danced before — where do I begin?

Start with the music that already moves you; that pull outlasts any amount of technique. Salsa, street dance and ballet draw the biggest beginner numbers here, but all twenty styles keep a genuine starter level.

Do you run classes for children too?

Yes — children's classes run in most styles, grouped by age and taught by DBS-checked staff, with street dance and ballet filling first. Mark your area on the enquiry form and we will find the nearest group with room.

Do I have to bring a partner?

Not at all — salsa, bachata, ballroom and tango all rotate partners through the class as standard, so turning up on your own is completely normal. Bring someone and keep them if you prefer, or join the rotation and dance with the whole room.
