Pick a Hen Party Theme. We Build the Routine.

Every hen party dance class in Doncaster is built on the bride's chosen theme — Beyoncé, ABBA, Thriller or any of the 38+ on the list — and finishes with the whole group performing a routine they only met that afternoon.

Your choreographer teaches it step by step at a private studio in the city centre, or loads the speaker in the car and comes to your accommodation anywhere across the borough. The price is one flat figure for the whole group.

Routine by late afternoon, Hall Gate by dark, and an encore at the wedding when the song comes on — that is how Doncaster does a hen do.

One Flat Price. No Per-Head Maths.

Per-head pricing punishes every guest-list wobble, so we refuse to do it. One fixed price covers your whole party — whether the final headcount is six or the full thirty.

  1. Choose your theme

Pick the bride's theme from the 38+ available. Torn between two favourites? Your choreographer will happily stitch them together.

  2. Pick studio or come-to-you

A central studio minutes from the station and the bars, or the choreographer travels to your house, hotel or hall anywhere in the borough.

  3. Learn the routine together

Short, repeatable sections designed for absolute beginners — nobody hides at the back and nobody gets left behind.

  4. Perform it — maybe twice

The last run is filmed on your phones — and half these routines resurface at the wedding, to scenes.

Wedding Dance Lessons in Doncaster

The first dance gets more cameras than the ceremony — it deserves better than a rocking shuffle. Our choreographers build private routines to your song, from simple-and-elegant to full production number, at a central studio or your venue.

Four to six lessons over the run-up is the standard shape; the two-hour Last Minute intensive exists for couples who left it heroically late. Packages start at £75, with song editing and filmed rehearsals in the bigger bundles.

Questions, Answered

The questions Doncaster hen groups, dancers and couples actually ask — anything else, the enquiry forms reach us within one working day.

Where in Doncaster do the classes and hen parties run?

At partner studios in the city centre between the station, High Street and Hall Gate — with children's classes in the wider borough. Hen parties and private sessions can instead have the choreographer travel to your accommodation anywhere across Doncaster and its villages.

How does the flat-rate hen party pricing work?

One figure covers everybody: £140 plus any venue cost for an hour, or £165 plus venue for ninety minutes — identical whether eight hens attend or twenty-eight. The only optional extra is the £10 bottle of bubbly for the bride.

How much are the weekly dance classes?

Every class is £8 flat — the same for a casual drop-in as for each week of a four-week block, across all twenty styles. No joining fee, no contract, no penalty for trying a different style next week.

Do I need any dance experience?

None — every style runs a genuine beginner level, and hen routines assume half the room last danced at a school disco. Our teachers are working professionals who specialise in fast, kind beginnings.

Who teaches for Dance Centre UK in Doncaster?

Professional working dancers and choreographers — people whose weeks are spent on shows, shoots and touring productions, teaching between jobs. Children's classes are led by DBS-checked professionals.

How far ahead should we book?

Weekly classes can usually be joined the same week you enquire. Hen parties should book two to four weeks out — more for summer Saturdays and St Leger week, when Doncaster fills fast — and wedding couples ideally start lessons two to three months before the day.

What Our Dancers Say

Hen groups, weekly regulars and first-dance couples from across the borough.

Eleven of us did the cheerleading theme for my sister's hen — pom-poms, a chant with her name in it, the lot. The chant got performed again outside the fountain in town at midnight and honestly it went even better the second time.

Danika W. Maid of honour, Doncaster

I work shifts at the rail depot and ballroom on my free Tuesdays is the fixed point of my week. Proper teaching, partners swap round, and I can now quickstep — which nobody at work has let me forget.

Stefan H. Weekly student, Doncaster

We booked lessons for a sangeet routine before our wedding — our families learned it with us over two sessions, and the moment forty relatives hit the chorus together is the best thing on our wedding video.
