Hen Party Dance Class Bolton
A Dance Hen Party, Bolton Style
One Routine, the Whole Group
The whole point is that everyone learns the same routine together, so there are no onlookers and nobody sneaking off early. A choreographer leads the session, an hour or ninety minutes, and it ends on a filmed take the bride will still be sharing months later. Tying the knot soon? Our wedding dance lessons come from the same team.
Class First, the Town on the Doorstep
Our studios sit right in the middle of town, so the Market Place and Victoria Square's restaurants are only a couple of minutes off once you've wrapped — or the choreographer packs a speaker and drives out to your hotel, a rented cottage or a booked hall anywhere in the borough. Staying over at Middlebrook by the stadium? We'll fix the transfer. Anyone who gets the bug can keep it up at our regular dance classes in Bolton.
38+ Themes, One Total
Decade, pop diva, stage musical or world style — the whole thing is built around whatever the bride is genuinely into. The group pays a single £140 no matter the final numbers, so one more name joining late trims each person's share instead of lifting it. And with trains and buses all feeding Bolton Interchange, herding a scattered crew into town is refreshingly easy. Lock in a date.
Choose the Bride's Theme
Over 38 themes here — pick the one that screams the bride and we choreograph around it. Every last one is built for absolute beginners.
80s
Think aerobics class in fluorescent spandex: the power-ballad key changes, the pointed fingers, enough neon to light the room. You'll be short of breath and laughing by the second chorus.
80s Hen Party
90s
Half boyband heart-clutch, half girl-group strut, with a swaggery Britpop edge running underneath. Every anthem your mates still bellow in the taxi, finally given the moves to go with it.
90s Hen Party
2000s
Frosted lip gloss, cargo trousers and a set of pure noughties chart gold. Low-slung R&B grooves one minute, an indie-disco stomp the next.
2000s Hen Party
ABBA
Give it everything under an imaginary glitterball — pointed disco arms, a platform-heel wobble, harmonies nobody can actually reach. Somehow every hen already knows every word.
ABBA Hen Party
Ariana Grande
It lives in the attitude: a swishing ponytail, neat clipped footwork and a faintly bored cool. Fiddly in the room, impossibly polished back on the phone.
Ariana Grande Hen Party
Barbie
Wall-to-wall pink, a chin-up plastic-doll freeze and a strut lifted straight off the box. A fizzy, silly opener before the group heads out into town.
Barbie Hen Party
Belly Dance
Tie on a coin belt, learn to isolate the hips and drop them on cue, and let the fabric do the drama. Flattering on absolutely everyone, and a far bigger workout than it looks.
Belly Dance Hen Party
Beyoncé
Bride front and centre, everyone else lined up tight behind, all hitting that famous wrist-flick as one. Fierce, drilled and made to be filmed head-on.
Beyoncé Hen Party
Bollywood
Bright playback numbers built on bouncing shoulders and hands that act out every line. Taken apart patiently, so nobody who's never tried it gets stranded.
Bollywood Hen Party
Britney
You've been half-doing these at the mirror since school — now here's the real thing, bunches to catsuit, hair-flick and all. It finally clicks.
Britney Hen Party
Burlesque
Feather boa, a knowing look and a slow, deliberate tease — all suggestion, no exposure. To be clear, everything stays on; only the shyness gets shed.
Burlesque Hen Party
Charleston
Swishing crossed hands, twisting knees and a shimmy of beaded fringe, straight out of the roaring-twenties mill-town dance halls. Picture it up on the Albert Halls stage.
Charleston Hen Party
Cheerleading
Sharp arms, a chant loud enough to rattle the windows and, nerve allowing, the bride hoisted skyward. Full Trotters-at-the-Toughsheet energy, minus the offside rule.
Cheerleading Hen Party
Chicago
Slink low into Fosse shapes — shoulders rolling, fingers snapping, a bowler hat over one eye. Pure smoke-and-jazz attitude from the very first beat.
Chicago Hen Party
Commercial
We lift whatever's ruling the charts this week, take the video's routine and clean it until it films sharp. The current, camera-ready look Harc Studios crews trade in.
Commercial Hen Party
Dirty Dancing
Roll the hips through a little mambo, build the tension, then — spotters ready, only if you fancy it — go for the lift. You know full well nobody leaves the bride in the corner.
Dirty Dancing Hen Party
Disney
Those cartoon showstoppers you claim to have outgrown, wobbly big note and sudden sniffle included. Fits the wide moorland skyline running up toward Winter Hill.
Disney Hen Party
Fame
Sweatbands, high kicks and unfiltered stage-school ambition, all hurled at the title number until the bride practically has her name on a dressing-room door.
Fame Hen Party
Flamenco
Proud carriage, arms coiling overhead and heels stamping the rhythm hard into the boards. Easily the fiercest, loudest thing here, and hugely satisfying once it snaps into place.
Flamenco Hen Party
Flash Dance
Off-the-shoulder sweatshirts, gritty floorwork and the head-flinging chair pose to close. A tip of the cap to the cotton mills and Crompton's spinning mule — and no, nobody gets drenched.
Flash Dance Hen Party
Greatest Showman
Swing into ringmaster mode for the roof-lifting anthems, ending on a wide-armed pose that dares the room not to roar. It leaves the whole group buzzing.
Greatest Showman Hen Party
Grease
Pick up the hand-jive, add some greaser strut and Pink Lady bite, and time it so the group ends up howling the big duet at each other. Daft and glorious.
Grease Hen Party
High School Musical
Bouncy Wildcat routines and cafeteria-style group shapes, driven by a hook that lodges in your head on the first play. Even the reluctant ones are singing by the finish.
High School Musical Hen Party
Irish Dancing
Rapid jig-and-reel footwork below, everything above the waist held dead still. Looks easy on the telly; the giggling back row discovers in seconds that it very much isn't.
Irish Dancing Hen Party
Line Dancing
Boots stomping, heels digging and everyone pivoting to a fresh wall on the same count. No partner needed, country at the heart of it, and slowly creeping up the modern charts.
Line Dancing Hen Party
Musicals
A medley gallop through the West End songbook — belted notes, kick lines, spirit fingers and a curtain-call bow. A proper warm-up for a night at the Octagon or Albert Halls.
Musicals Hen Party
Pole Dancing
Expect a nervy first spin, a few ridiculous poses and a lot of shrieking. Held only at a proper partner pole studio, and it asks for front far more than muscle.
Pole Dancing Hen Party
RuPaul
Strut the runway, throw a bit of shade and lip-sync for your life. It runs on pure confidence — the death drop is there if you want it, quietly skipped if you don't.
RuPaul Hen Party
Salsa
Loosen the hips to a Cuban count, add a spin or two, and rotate so everyone dances with everyone. A nod to the little salsa circle Mariana Salsa keeps alive locally.
Salsa Hen Party
Samba
That relentless carnival bounce in the knees, feathers everywhere and a drum pattern you physically cannot ignore. As loud and colourful as Bolton Market in full Saturday swing.
Samba Hen Party
SIX the Musical
Henry VIII's wives reborn as a strutting pop girl-group — Tudor collars, mic-drop swagger, the works. Crown the bride the seventh queen and let her lead the line.
SIX the Musical Hen Party
Spice Girls
Everyone bags a Spice, laces up the platforms and flashes the peace signs. The ultimate girl-power singalong, hammed up as far as it will possibly go.
Spice Girls Hen Party
Street Dance
Relaxed grooves with real attitude, tightened just enough that the group clip comes out looking properly shot. It leans on the scene Harc Studios keeps running at Bromley Cross.
Street Dance Hen Party
Strictly
Glitter, a wildly optimistic fake tan and a ballroom frame that genuinely holds. All the glide and the drama, taught the honest, feet-on-the-floor way — Blackpool's Tower stays well out of it.
Strictly Hen Party
Taylor Swift
Hop era to era with friendship bracelets stacked to the elbow, catching the signature move from each one. Made for the Swiftie bride and the mates who know every lyric.
Taylor Swift Hen Party
Texas Hold'em
Beyoncé goes full cowboy: boots on, brim down, into a loping two-step with a touch of stomp and no shortage of hat-tipping. Country swagger under a pop sheen.
Texas Hold'em Hen Party
Thriller
Hands clawed, that stiff-legged zombie lurch, and the shuffle a fair few of you can already half-do. Picture it under a black Winter Hill with the mast light blinking — Fred Dibnah's town gone eerie.
Thriller Hen Party
Wicked
Full emerald-witch drama — a sweeping arm, a held silence, then the soaring note that keeps climbing until nobody in the room dares breathe. Big, theatrical, worth the goosebumps.
Wicked Hen PartyStudio or Your Own Space
A room of ours or one of yours — both land just as well.
A Studio in the Centre
Bolton town centreA partner studio in the middle of town — a private room held just for you, a proper floor underfoot, with the Market Place and the town's bars right outside. We send the exact address once you book.
We Travel to You
Bolton, Horwich & across the boroughFunction room at the hotel, the lounge of a group holiday-let, or a hall hired out in one of the villages — wherever you land, the choreographer shows up with speaker and routine in hand. The natural choice when the whole party is bunked up in one place.
The Price, Plainly
One figure for the entire room rather than a fee per person, so nobody redoes the sums when the guest list wobbles.
One-Hour Party
The full themed number top to bottom, with the last run caught on camera.
£140 + venueNinety-Minute Party
More time to sharpen it and fold in extra choruses — the usual call for a bigger group.
£165 + venueAdd Bubbly
Poured out and waiting the moment the group arrives.
+£10How It Works
- Choose a theme — there are 38+; go by what the bride loves, not who dances best.
- Fix the date — peak-season Saturdays in Bolton fill three to five months ahead.
- Studio or your place — a room in the centre, or we bring it to your door across the borough.
- Learn it, film it — the recorded run comes built in; the encore is entirely up to you.
One price covers everyone, whether eight of you turn up or twenty-eight — more names simply means a smaller share each.
Before You Book
The things a hen organiser usually wants nailed down before booking in Bolton.
How much is a hen party dance class in Bolton?
The group is billed once, never a head at a time — £140 for the hour, £165 for ninety minutes, with studio hire added on top only when you use one of our rooms. Because it's a single figure, the split gets cheaper the more of you come: thirty hens share the very same £140 as six. Want fizz on arrival? That's £10.
Where in Bolton does the class happen, and what's nearby afterwards?
A private room in the town centre, a short walk from Bolton Interchange, with the Market Place, Victoria Square's restaurants and an Octagon show all a short step away once you're done. Alternatively the choreographer heads out to your hotel, a rented cottage or a booked hall anywhere across the borough. Staying at Middlebrook near the stadium? We'll build in the transfer.
Can you come to us, or do we come to you?
Either suits us. Some groups take a central studio and roll straight into town afterwards; others have the choreographer bring the speaker and the routine to a hotel suite or a house they've booked together out at Middlebrook or in the villages. Tell us the plan and we work around it.
What if we've genuinely never danced before?
That describes most groups on the day. The routine is fed to you a handful of counts at a time, building up gently and aimed squarely at people who've never set foot in a class. Turn up game and the final video usually stuns everyone.
How much notice do you need for a Bolton hen do?
Aim three to five months ahead for a summer Saturday. Weekday dates and quieter off-season weekends will often go in on a fortnight's notice.
Could we take the routine to the wedding too?
A good number of groups do precisely this. Mention it at the booking stage and the choreographer keeps the routine sturdy enough to survive the trip from hen weekend to reception floor — plenty of what we take on, it turns out, began as a quiet first-dance plan.
